About Artist:
VLKN is a special storyteller from other side of the world.
Istanbul-based VLKN (aka Volkan) first got into electronic music as a teenager. In 2003, he first got behind the decks, and still prefers spinning vinyl to this day. His passion for music leads him inevitably to the production side, with his 2021 EP “Senses” released on schallmauer_records. In addition to numerous guest mix invitations, VLKN curates an excellent regular SoundCloud podcast, “Analog Sessions”. On his podcasts on Soundcloud you can see that VLKN is a storyteller, but the story is in the form of music. You can feel the book changing pages and the bpm getting on the dance floor. There is a happing ending and all that, so the desire to hear him playing more and more is absolute. Enjoy! 💟
