Marcelo Malta, aka “MLTX” began his career in music at a very young age, guided by his father, a multi-instrumentalist. Drummer and Musician, he was part of Hardcore, Punk Rock, and Heavy Metal authorial bands, expanding his feelings and relationship with different rhythms & melodies. In 2015 he started attending big festivals and parties, developing a fondness for Techno and listening to renowned names, which influenced his musical taste until a friend encouraged him to begin DJing during the pandemic. Since then he has been playing at parties & podcasts around the world for Germany, Netherlands, Croatia, France, Colombia, Argentina, and others. With an ongoing label project, MLTX DJ sets emerge in a #fusiontechno strand, a mix of Techno & Indie Dance / Dark Disco tracks, exploring new horizons and boundaries, performing strong and dark rhythms driving the melody through the beats like an electronic drummer.

We welcome Nicolas Soria for the seventy-second edition of the 'Deep In Mix' series. 

Nicolas hails from the city of Rio Grande in the province of Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. In 2010, captivated by the allure of being a DJ, he took the plunge into the world of music, embarking on a journey that would later see him seamlessly transition into music production. Although his production career officially kicked off in 2020, Soria's passion for crafting immersive sonic experiences dates back to 2018.

His rich musical palette resonates with the nuances of Organic House, Progressive House, Afro House, and Melodic House. In this guest mix, he skillfully weaves together the organic and progressive elements, offering a glimpse into his eclectic taste and artistic versatility. He has released on labels such as Bekool Records, Stellar Fountain, Dreamers, Amulanga, and 3rd Avenue to name a few. Inspired by the luminary Lee Burridge, Nicolas found not only a mentor but also a guiding force that shaped his musical trajectory. The influence is evident in the soul-stirring tracks that he produces, creating an emotive resonance that sets his work apart. Notably, his imprint on the electronic music scene has recently been affirmed with the release of his label compilation, "Anoka," featuring two of his tracks from 2023. Additionally, his collaboration with Mauro Masi culminates in an upcoming EP on their co-founded label, Atelakoya, promising a unique auditory experience.

As a testament to his prolific output, Nicolas recently unveiled his first EP of the year on BeKool Records, showcasing two original compositions accompanied by a stellar remix by Mass Digital. This mix is a sonic journey through unreleased gems from the Anoka label, seamlessly blending melodic serenity with buoyant grooves and radiant atmospheres. DJMOK's journey through the world of music began behind the Iron Curtain, where his passion for beats and rhythms developed into a lifelong love affair with the art of DJing. In 1994, he took his first steps into the world of turntables, spinning the sounds of the '90s in East Germany's vibrant venues. His sets reverberated with the energy of an era experiencing newfound freedoms and musical expression.
The pivotal moment arrived in 2006 when DJMOK clinched the championship at the prestigious Bootleg DJ Contest in Rotterdam. This victory became a launchpad for his career, propelling him to the pulsating heart of the electronic music scene. For six years, Rotterdam became his creative haven, where he curated his own events, imprinting his signature style on the city's nightlife.
However, in 2013, DJMOK took a hiatus, retreating to his roots in Erfurt. This break became a period of reflection and recalibration, providing fresh inspiration for the next chapter of his musical odyssey.
Resurfacing in 2018, DJMOK embarked on a new chapter as part of the Karaktherz Crew in Erfurt. Under his new project moniker, TIEFENLIEBE aka DJMOK, he delved into the realms of Organi, Deep, and Progressive House. His sets evolved into a seamless blend of soul-stirring melodies and hypnotic beats, captivating audiences with their immersive and emotive journey.
With TIEFENLIEBE, DJMOK continues to craft sonic landscapes, drawing from his rich experiences and diverse influences. His soundscapes transport listeners, bridging the old and the new, inviting them to immerse themselves in the euphoria of his meticulously curated musical tapestries.
