Ernesto Tomasini - "The Diva's Lament" by Julia Kent

Tomasini sings live a piano arrangement by Adam Michael Bridges of "The Diva's Lament" by Julia Kent. Performed in the show "Ernesto Tomasini: One Life to Live!!!" at the Dortmund Schauspielhaus in Germany, in 2015.

Kent wrote this and other songs for Dragica Martinis, Ernesto's transgender character, in the "dark musical" "Mamma Schiavona". The show, performed with Eliana Cantone and Julia Kent (who played her music live), was directed by Giordano Vincenzo Amato at the Teatro Astra in Turin, in Italy for the ISAO Festival 2014.

The Diva's Lament

I recorded this track, alongside 6 others, for Andrew Liles' "The Vortex Vault Collection" (2007). The other 6 ended up in the cds "Black Widow" and "Black Sea" (number 4 and 6 of the collection). This one remained unpublished and so I share it here! I am in awe of Mr Liles!
