After signing its first vinyl and digital release last May, Weird Planet returns with a digital fundraiser compilation project, just to start the year off right.

Through this VA bringing together no less than 16 artists, the Lyon-based booking agency - and young label - defends a vision that reflects its roster : eclectic, hybrid and far from the pre-established standards. An exploration of the dancefloor in its most uninhibited forms, crossing acid-techno, psychedelic trance, groovy tribe and other unidentified sound objects.

In addition to the strictly musical aspect, it is also and above all the opportunity to contribute to a cause that goes beyond the borders of our scene, since all income generated by the digital sale of this compilation will be donated to the refugee aid association Act For Ref, which provides accommodation solutions, food, administrative or material support and French lessons.

Comme chaque année, nous mettons tout en œuvre pour partager au maximum notre univers, ces moments magiques vécus dans l’intimité de nos nuits ravées. Pour cela, nous souhaitons clôturer cette saison 2023-2024 par une magnifique compilation VA.

Cette VA symbolise nos deux résidences, DRIFT et TRIBU, que nous faisons vivre avec passion et enthousiasme. Chaque artiste invité·e, avec ses kicks ravageurs, nous a fait vibrer et nous propose aujourd’hui une track inspirée de son univers. Chez Esprits Sauvages, nous avons à cœur de tisser un lien fort avec les artistes, un lien qui dépasse la simple prestation, qui reste gravé dans les cœurs et qui donne tout son sens à la construction, ensemble, d’une scène à notre image. Ensemble, jusqu’au bout de la nuit…

Vous découvrirez ici un savant mélange de Rave et de Free, un cocktail bien épicé qui, nous l’espérons, vous fera explorer ou redécouvrir notre univers ainsi que les magnifiques artistes qui l’ont fait vibrer tout au long de cette saison.

Varanoid : est un DJ/producteur groovy Psytrance originaire de Toulouse (France), connu pour son énergie communicative qui crée une véritable connexion avec les dancefloors. Entre 148 et 155 BPM, son style dynamique se caractérise par la diversité de ses basslines, imprégnées d'influences Tech/kno, mélangeant sons psychédéliques avec kicks percutants pour surprendre constamment le public et le propulser dans l'euphorie.

Foussy : Musicien depuis son enfance et fils d'une chanteuse de jazz, il est plongé dans la musique depuis toujours. Son style de live, alliant techno mentale, dynamique et expérimentale, lui a rapidement permis de multiplier les performances dans le sud-ouest de la France et de perfectionner son set.
Ses LIVE sont de véritables voyages musicaux, racontant des histoires uniques, portées par des sonorités psychédéliques et un groove ethnique qui invitent à l’évasion.

Since 2005, I’ve been on an intergalactic mission as a DJ, with my first experiments in music production happening through Fruity Loops and Reason. I quickly jumped into the vinyl universe, playing with crews like DGTL42 and THE HIVE, taking crowds on journeys through DnB, Ragga Jungle, Tekno, Electro House and Moombahton. Always searching for new frequencies.

In 2021, I landed back in the studio::::this time, fully embracing raw, untamed tekkno. The sound got deeper and Ableton became my spaceship, guiding me through uncharted sonic galaxies👽
