This soundscape was born in the the 90s, and was included in the 2nd album release of Satori (previous name of Eromnim3). The track was recorded on a Tascam 4 track, which is still utilised today, but just for playback. Enjoy.

This year Eronmim3 took part in the 48 Hour Film Project (The 48 Hour Film Project is a wild and sleepless weekend in which you and a team make a movie—write, shoot, edit and score it—in just 48 hours). Eromnim3 was part of a team with Rampant Film Production. As well as the writing and filming taking place over the 48 Hours, Eromnim3 also undertook the creation of the Soundscapes. However as Eromnim3 were also acting and filming in the short film, the time available was extremely restricted.

The genesis of this track appears in the film (available on You Tube), but has now been altered, effected, mixed and mastered.

Eromnim3 - The New Libyan

The track was inspired by the story The Life of Pi. It was recorded a few years ago, with an excellent animated video created by Rampant Film Production (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtsGTtJgWBc). 
We finally managed to finish mastering -after some tweaking, slicing and mixing.

Creating Soundscapes for all Dreamers.

Eromnim3 is a Scottish musical collective focussed on composing and recording music across a number of genres.
 
The collective aim to collaborate across music, film, photography and video game media as a platform to showcase the abundance of talent across the west of Scotland. Hailing from the town of Bellshill which has a rich musical heritage. The town spawned Teenage Fan Club, BMX Bandits and The Soup Dragons and among others.
 
Eromnim3 have 3 releases, Continents-1, UVB76 and Realscapes. All available via Bandcamp. http://eromnim3.bandcamp.com.

Continents-1 was released in 2019 and takes the listener on a trip around the globe, without the need for a passport. 

UVB-76 was released in 2018, nearly 7 years since the initial album, and contains a few addition contributors to expand the soundscapes normally created.  

The initial release, in 2009, was part of a suite of tracks written and recorded in 2008/09 during a stint at RealWorld ‘Realscapes’ is an 8 track self-produced release. This suite of rhythmically intricate soundscapes featuring an electric and electronic palette of sounds fused with programmed and performed percussion including live drums, African percussion, treated piano and ‘stairwell’ samples and extracts of chance conversations from the RealWorld sessions.
 
Eromnim3’s sessions were recorded while Sade were also in residence at RealWorld recording their highly successful Soldier of Love album (Sade’s percussionist dropped by to borrow our brushes one afternoon !)

Arab Spring is a suite of tracks exploring the theme of the 2011 uprising across North Africa and the Middle East. ‘Arab Spring’ features tracks touching on stories arising from Tunisia, Libya, Egypt and other territories.
