イギリスの南西端に位置する半島コンウォール出身のプロデューサー/DJ。90年代初期に 友人であったJeremy SimmondsとのコラボレーションVibert / Simmonsで地元の〈Rephlex〉よりデビュー、サンプリングとリズム・マシーンを駆使したトラックを量産し、Wagon Christ (ヒップホップ / ブレイクビーツ)、Plug / Amen Andrews (ジャングル / ドラムンベース)、Kerrier District (ハウス / ディスコ）、Ace Of Clubs (アシッド / テクノ)といった様々な名義で90年代よりUKのエレクトロニック・ミュージック代表するレーベル、〈WARP〉、〈Ninja Tune〉、〈Rephlex〉、〈Planet Mu〉からアルバムをリリース、UKクラブ・ミュージックのハイブリッドなサウンドとユーモアを体現した数々のヒットを生み出してる。デビュー当初よりジャンル、シーン、レーベルに属することを嫌い、またトレンドに染まることなく、ヒップホップやブレイクビーツの感性を軸に我が道を突き進む、現在もUKを代表する唯一無二のアーティストとして健在するベテラン。
