Shayda Velasco, better known as "Shyda," is a Miami based techno DJ known for her style of blending various electronic genres together such as electro/breaks with hard and acidic techno, and trance. Resulting in “ravey” and high-energy journeys throughout her sets.

With a long history of musical influence due to her family of musicians, Shyda's passion for music started when she was a kid in L.A and was constantly surrounded by it ever since. In 2008, Shyda moved to Barcelona, Spain where she was introduced to the European rave culture primarily consisting of Drum & Bass music as well as Trance, Goa, and Hardstyle. A few years later life brought her back to Miami where she worked in the night life at some of the best and most iconic clubs in the scene, where she fell even deeper into her love for electronic music.

Shyda first made her mark in the Miami scene by being the closing resident of Techno collective Ground Zero as well as being a partner in opening up an underground club that focused on techno playing every weekend as a resident, and she can still be found playing with other collectives throughout the city.

Apart from her monthly hosting and residency of the Green Room for Cisco Ferreira’s (aka The Advent) TechnoClubNet, Shyda has also made quite the impression recently after her HÖR Berlin debut in early December of 2021.

[BIO]:
On the local scene, she appeared relatively recently, in 2019 - earlier, dealing with the organization of events with electronic music. She collaborated with Projekt Pralnia, Sunday / Audioriver and the legendary club Das Lokal, among others. The love of electronic music has grown over the years. Carefully collected selection saw the light of night at one of the crazy events that she organized herself. Already at the Transformator club in Wrocław, located at Tęczowa Street.
With full understanding, when choosing the right tracks, he cares about the spontaneity of the numbers he throws from behind the console. Constantly working on a real rollercoaster, letting go of the power to climb again, with a crazy breakdown and be able to hit with full energy, remarkably built drop. Circling between dark numbers, hypnotic sound, raw reverberation, at the same time taking care of continuous progression, not enduring boredom. He cares with understanding about the dance floor, with which he tries to be symbiotic, always deriving pleasure and energy, flowing back from the full dance floor.

TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ KATNADA

Katnada is a DJ, producer, and singer, currently based in North Italy. 
Her productions and DJ sets are characterized by high-energy percussive rhythms, acid grooves, and dreamy melodies. Her first encounter with music creation dates back to the age of 16 when she started composing piano pieces. Fascinated by the history and philosophy behind techno music, she began to deepen her knowledge and refine her productions inspired by the genre. At the same time she starts to perform in important events between Milan, Varese (her hometown), and the north of Italy, becoming part of the This is Not family, a reference point of the Italian underground electronic scene, where she becomes resident DJ and releases her first EP "Awakening" on the homonymous label.

Next on The Erratic Podcast we are happy to welcome aboard a very talented, young artist who has been on our watch-list for a while, HÉCTOR OAKS. Based in Berlin by way of Madrid, he's made quite a name for himself in the last couple of years. In 2014 he joined the KEY imprint and later became part of the Unbroken Booking agency, a established collective of friends and artists from Berlin. Hector has also released superlative works on Sonntag Morgen, Quant, and Mutewax along with a slew of spectacular remixes that have been played by superstar djs around the world. At the start of this year 2016, he founded his own imprint, OAKS, with its first release being one of his strongest works yet. Sound-wise, what is unique about Hector is his uncanny sense of producing truly evoking and outstanding pieces of timeless techno. Powerful, deep, raw and emotive his sound juxtaposes classic and soulful Detroit with Berlin's modern raw and powerful sound, meanwhile infusing his trademark of authentic and enthralling melodies. In this mix for us, he delivers a seminal session full of good old, stomping techno mixed with exquisite, varied textures.
