I recorded a version of this song back in the summer. And after listening to it a few times, I came to accept that the vocals were shockingly unpassable. I decided to redo the whole thing a half step lower because my vocals seemed more relaxed in that key. But the original wasn't recorded to a click, and I didn't want to re-record the drums. So, I made a variable click by tapping on the countertop with a pencil while listening to the original. Then I re-recorded everything to that. I don't know why I went though all the trouble. I don't even like this song all that much compared to some of the other stuff I've written. But I just had to get it right for whatever reason. It's still not perfect. But it's not meant to be. It's meant to be real. So here it is.
