DJ Shadow, widely acknowledged as a crucial figure in the development of experimental, instrumental hip-hop, will return with ‘The Mountain Will Fall’ worldwide on June 24 via Mass Appeal Records [and Believe Digital in France], his first full length release since 2011.  The 12-track album finds DJ Shadow exploring new realms in addition to the deep samples and kinetic soundscapes that helped to launch his career 20 years ago.  On ‘The Mountain Will Fall’ he’s shifted further toward original composition, a vast experimentation of beats and textures, synthesizers and live instruments including horns and woodwinds.  The album features Run The Jewels, Nils Frahm, Matthew Halsall, Ernie Fresh and more.

Error Positivo es una banda formada por Maxi Martina en voz , Nicolás Etevenaux y Ramiro Carranza en guitarras, Matías Mateos en batería, Federico Docampo en bajo y Fabián “Resakka” García como panderetista estrella. Todos ellos dieron vida a esta pequeña, oscura y bestial criatura en agosto de 2006. De aquellos míticos inicios nos cuentan: “armamos la banda porque queríamos sonar como los Pixies, pero nos sucedió que terminamos sonando como cuando los Redondos querían parecerse a The Cure”. Más allá de lo que ellos pretendan hacerme creer, este cronista afirma que en su música además de estas menciones se cuelan también otros juguetones sonidos de Brian Jonestown Massacre, Sonic Youth y Don Cornelio y la Zona. Su carrera discográfica consta de dos EP (NO Fango y El misterioso asesinato de la actriz porno) y un esperado larga duración Error Positivo. (((Dato, sotto voce para coleccionistas: hay un par de ediciones de sus temas en vinilo!!. ))). En vivo su sonido se nos presenta como el combo ideal para el rock de hoy: dos guitarras juguetonas pero certeras en el frente, letras y melodías vocales que navegan entre la sonoridad y las palabras certeras, una base de bajo y batería sólida pero tierna, todo esto coronado por un delirio panderetístico y onírico, dos amigos que se llevan muy bien…
