After her mammoth remix of Will Clarke’s ‘Let’s Rave’ in 2020, Patrick Topping invites London-based DJ/producer Ammara back to his unstoppable Trick imprint, this time for a collection of three killer original productions. 
Title cut ‘Acid Fantasy’ leads the release, with its distorted vocals and crunching low-end custom-built for dancefloor mania. ‘The Trip’ takes a dip into the late hours, offering hypnotic basslines and bombastic stabs over robust drums, flipping samples from a well-loved cartoon into a future rave classic. 
Closing cut ‘Havoc’ ties the release together with pumping bass and energetic synth work, adding the final touch to an outstanding first EP of no-holds-barred stompers. A testament to both the production skills of Ammara and to Patrick Topping’s knack for A&R alike, ‘Acid Fantasy’ is certain to remain in crates of party-starting selectors for years to come.

Hot on the heels of the A-Sides Volume 5 compilation, Enrico Sangiuliano makes his return to Drumcode with his highly anticipated EP ‘Moon Rocks’. The heavy hitting four track EP shines a light on Sangiuliano’s tight, thundering production skills. The hoover heavy lead track ‘Moon Rocks’ is packed with booming percussion, intricate synths and brooding crescendos. The EP encapsulates Sangiuliano’s wide spectrum of sounds ranging from the fat bass line of ‘Moon Rocks’ to the more delicate harmonies shown within the ‘Dutch Kiss’ mixes whilst ‘Ghettoblaster’ sits somewhere in between.

Sam Paganini makes his return to Drumcode after his chart topping album ‘Satellite’ with a four track, pounding EP. ‘The Beat’, is crammed with thudding drums, reverberated vocals and floaty synth lines. The EP, packed with tantalising synths and explosive drops, will ignite any dance floor.

The weirdo underground live-house duo that is SHOUSE often invite local singers and musicians to collaborate when bunkered down in their Collingwood studio. New release “Love Tonight” is an amalgamation of this working environment, whilst being a cheeky parody and adorable homage to the classic ’80’s celebrity extravaganza that was Bandaid “We Are The World”. Assembling a choir of all the people that they have loved and admired in their local scene (Oscar Key Sung, Monte Morgan (Client Liaison), Bec from The Harpoons, HABITS, Pillow Pro and so many more!), Ed and Jack have delivered the type of number that champions unity and a shared sense of eternal wonder for the future! 

For remixes we have Mike Simonetti (Horse Meat Disco) delivering a dark acid heavy late night techno jam, DJ Seinfeld who eschews the hook altogether for a fun lo-fi belter, and Australian newcomers The Nights with a lusciously pulsating melodic mover. Theres also an exceptional Acapella mix with plenty of dance saxophone!

The warmth delivered on this song is arguably tangible! Showing a shared sense of compassion and a display of strength.

Love Tonight (Edit)

Released on Slater’s iconic ‘Freek Funk’ album on NovaMute - one of the most seminal techno albums of the 90s - ‘Love’ finally gets the remix treatment it deserves more than two decades after its initial release.

Marcel Dettmann provides two takes on Love, his ‘City’ remix features a cacophony of metallic rhythm, ebbing pads and plenty of swing whilst mantra-like vocals operate throughout, followed by the thudding ‘Black Glove’ remix with its murky tones and rattling effects.

Will Clarke marks his Farris Wheel debut by teaming up with the head honcho himself Gene Farris.

Both artists are in formidable form right now and this track ticks all the boxes for their own unique styles crossing from House to Techno. 

'Inside My Head' has everything from a killer baseline, to driving drums and shuffling hi-hats which combined with the spoken word vocals creating a dark atmospheric feel which will energise any dance floor.

This track has already been circulating around the DJ community and we are delighted to unleash this.
