This is the theme to Sky Tower, one of the major dungeons from "Trek." Probably the most interesting feature about this dungeon theme is the use of "shifting meter," a tactic I like to use quite a bit in my compositions.

From my World Warriors project. This battle theme is for specific battles the party members must fight to obtain their powers. Yeah, pretty old-school premise here. Not all of the battles, however, are of the physical variety . . . A different version of this song plays for those.

Crystal Fight

The "walkers" are a special group of beings able to phase in and out of, or "walk", through different positions in time and realities. They play an instrumental role in the lives of our heroes in the game.



Abyss Walkers

From the "World Warriors" project, this is the first overworld map theme. There isn't an actual 'overworld' that the player travels on, per se. Rather there is a map with points of interest that leads to areas like the "Highroad" and such. For my JRPG-ers out there, it's similar to the game "Shadow Hearts." Since no real action takes place on this screen, I wanted the theme to relax the player, like the 'calm between the storms' of battle. 

Purple Skies~ Overworld #1

This is another battle theme from "Trek Into Darkness." There are two parallel stories through the first half or so of the game. "Brave Souls," also on my page here, plays when Siro's group is featured, while "Into Battle!" plays while Marcus's group and their adventures are the focus.

From "Dragon Knight," this is the theme of "Crossward," main metropolis and central shopping hub of the game.

A song with various uses for my "Trek Into Darkness" game. Although the title is "Sorrow," it's also used for moments of reflection and soul searching.

From "Trek Into Darkness", this song plays in a couple of towns after some "very bad things" start happening in the world.  On a small side note, overall planning/ scriptwriting on "Trek" has surpassed the 45% mark! Slow but steady progress, that's the way to go! :-D

I was raised on the likes of RPGs like Final Fantasy IV and Chrono Trigger, which incidentally is the one game I credit more than any other for setting me on this path. Eventually I dream of making my own games as well; anything I post here will be from one of my video game works in progress. Yasunori Mitsuda, Maurice Ravel and Claude Debussy are my biggest influences. Also, to an extent, Nobuo Uematsu, Shoji Meguro, John Williams, among many others. Orchestral/cinematic, jazz, rock, world, ambient--my work is oftentimes a fusion of more than one of these styles.
