Erwin Khachikian is a Los Angeles-based producer and musical director. Born in an Armenian family in Iran, Erwin moved to LA at the age of 13 and quickly developed a passion for music. In his early 20s, he became a touring and recording musician, launching his journey into the entertainment industry.

Erwin has a long and impressive list of accomplishments in the music industry. He has served as the musical director for several prominent shows, including "The Voice Persia" (Season 1), "Let Her Sing" in San Francisco, "Eldfesten" in Stockholm, "United East" in Vancouver, and "Voices of Armenia" in Los Angeles. He continues to produce shows in his hometown of Los Angeles, showcasing his vast knowledge of the industry and his ability to create high-quality entertainment experiences.

Erwin is also a versatile musician known for his diverse range of performances. He has collaborated with Serj Tankian of System of a Down and appeared on popular TV shows such as The Tonight Show and Jimmy Kimmel. He has also toured globally with the Elect the Dead Symphony and Orca on the piano. In his early 30s, Erwin became a member of the Slow Motion Reign, a band signed to Serjical Strike/Columbia Records. 

In the early 2000’s, Erwin Khachikian established himself as a prominent figure in the music industry by producing two critically acclaimed albums for one of the most renowned Iranian composers of modern times Siavash Ghomeshi. The success of these albums demonstrated his exceptional talent and expertise in capturing the essence of contemporary Iranian sound, and further solidified his reputation as a top producer in the industry.

Erwin's solo project, KARMANDAN, has been active since 2010 and has gained recognition for its unique take on Iranian cultural issues and has appeared on notable Iranian shows. He has collaborated with Iranian musicians and writers to bring his music to the underground rock scene in Tehran.

With a vast knowledge of various genres and styles, Erwin continues to develop new artists and entertain audiences around the world. His passion and dedication to music are unmatched, and he is determined to leave a lasting impact on the industry for years to come. Whether he is producing albums, directing shows, or performing on stage, Erwin Khachikian always brings his best to every project, showcasing his exceptional talent and expertise in the music industry.
