"We Must Rise" heißt auf Deutsch "Wir müssen aufstehen" und entstand als Reaktion auf die Coronakrise. Der Text soll dazu auffordern, wieder glücklich zu sein und das alte Leben zurückzuerobern. Die Menschen sollen feiern und Freude haben, indem sie in Clubs ihr altes Leben führen, zusammen sein und gemeinsam feiern.

"We Must Rise" means "We have to get up" in German and was created as a reaction to the corona crisis. The text is intended to encourage people to be happy again and to recapture their old life. People should celebrate and have fun living their old lives in clubs, being together and celebrating together.

East the Dancehall wurde im Jahr 1995 eröffnet. Die Diskothekt befand sich in Hohenschönhausen in der Ferdinand Schulze Straße 95. Viele Jahr feierte man dort Partys. Mit sprüchen wie "hier bekommst Du Lust und verlierst den Frust" wurde das East bekannt. Zwischen zeitlich gab es 2 Namenswechsel "Nachtfabrik" und "Tonhalle". Im Jahr 2012 wurde das East abgerissen. 

Wir möchten uns bei euch für die kleine Zeitreise in die Vergangenheit bedanken. ❤️ Es war für uns auch ein schöner und unvergesslicher Abend mit vielen bekannten Gesichtern. ❤️ Ihr wart es, die den Abend unvergesslich gemacht haben und wir alle gemeinsam in alter Erinnerung schwelgen konnten. Wahnsinn! Mir klingeln jetzt noch die Ohren 🤪 und ich höre euch jetzt noch leise „sing hallelujah“ singen....Bis bald 👋

The Old Techno Is Still Alive

DJ Esah, whose real name is Christian Reimann, already developed his musical taste at a young age in one of Berlin's many districts. He challenged his parents every day with his love for club music. If you spell his name backwards, it reads “Hase”, the German word for “rabbit”. This name originated from a street worker, who gave him this nickname back when he started to play his first sets in small bars. He bought his vinyl at the record store "ClubsoundsRecords" where he got to know his mentor @dj-jordan-berlin, who assisted him on his first steps in the Berlin club scene. DJ Esah played regular gigs in the most popular clubs of Berlin although things got a little quieter at the moment. But he still knows how to excite the crowd on platforms like Twitch and Soundcloud. The upside of the current situation is that he has more time now to work on his own tracks. So stay tuned for more.

DJ Esah, mit bürgerlichem Namen Christian Reimann, hat seinen Musikgeschmack bereits in jungen Jahren in einem der vielen Berliner Stadtteile entwickelt. Er forderte die Nerven seiner Eltern jeden Tag mit seiner Liebe zur Clubmusik heraus. Wenn man seinen Namen rückwärts buchstabiert, lautet er "Hase". Dieser Name stammt von einem Streetworker, der ihm diesen Spitznamen gab als er anfing, seine ersten Sets in kleinen Bars zu spielen. Er kaufte seine Vinyls im Plattenladen "ClubsoundsRecords", wo er seinen Mentor @dj-jordan-berlin kennenlernte, der ihn bei seinen ersten Schritten in der Berliner Clubszene unterstützte. DJ Esah spielte regelmäßig in den beliebtesten Clubs Berlins, obwohl es momentan etwas ruhiger geworden ist. Aber er weiß immer noch, wie man die Menge auf Plattformen wie Twitch und Soundcloud begeistert. Der Vorteil der aktuellen Situation ist, dass er jetzt mehr Zeit hat, an seinen eigenen Tracks zu arbeiten. Also bleibt dran für mehr.
