Initially inspired by the subcultural scene of his hometown of Lübeck, the young artist was strongly influenced by the predominant sound of the Leipzig techno scene. Especially the infamous Institut fuer Zukunft and its hypnotic and dissociative sound significantly formed his
distinctive style and quickly paved his way into the local scene.
Over the years his sonic palette grew and now reaches from soothing ambient and downtempo to dark and dissociative contemporary techno.

In 2017 Kontinum co-founded the collective Nebula and, after organising their first raves, the collective quickly found its way into Leipzig's club scene and managed to establish its own event series at Institut fuer Zukunft.

In addition to managing most of Nebula's musical affairs, Kontinum continues to steadily enhance his own remarkable sound which can already be listened to on his releases on labels such as The Gods Planet, Lowless and Agos.

He gradually developed a distinct technique with a strong focus on atmosphere combined with hypnotic rhythms. Having performed in some of the most relevant clubs and festivals around the globe, he steadily releases music and collaborates with several renowned techno labels within the scene. With experience as label manager through the years with partnership on Mono Records and The Gods Planet, he later established his spin off project label Ness Reworks in 2018. Ness music and dj set are well accepted and defined as an exploration of wide range of deep hypnotic techno and ambient soundscapes.

An electronic music duo from Kumanovo, Macedonia.
The name Binary Thoughts may speak for itself, but there is a much deeper meaning embedded within. 
The ancestral way of thinking has always been 'binary'. In order to understand reality in all its complexity we made a world of oppositions (day/night, man/woman). Where the law of "all or nothing" rules, there is no in-between. But reality is indeed always more complex and richer than what our 'perception' of the world suggests. 
This perception beyond this “all or nothing” connected Ana Bogatinovska and Jovana Gjorgievska. At first strangers to each other, they met at a music festival in their native country; And after a long discussion about electronic music, they've decided to make a project that will connect their slightly different but similar taste in electronic music.
Their dark, unpredictable, underground techno and electronic sounds, evident in their DJ sets, reflects the uniqueness of their one of a kind 'binary' sound, able to take you from darkest corners to the deepest and most colorful nebuale of the universe.
Currently they are exploring the vast horizons of techno music and improving performance skills, with an aim to their create their own unique blend of creativity to start producing music on their own...

This mix contains tracks from Nertia, Aleja Sanchez, Deepbass, Artefakt, Evigt Morker, Wata Igarashi, Wrong Assessment, Anja Zaube, Blind Observatory, Moteka and Manent among others...
