Dirty Epic welcomes aboard @deepneue for its thirty second episode of Amplify Series.

The Portuguese producer promises a sweaty groove. Strongly present in the European techno scene, the appearances of this DJ  and producer extend from his residency in Berlin through the infamous @pornceptual collective to places like Kyiv, Sofia, London, Paris or Amsterdam. Having released 2 EPs, this producer unveils mysterious yet surprising soundscapes. 
The cadence is set and the rhythms are intense or sometimes broken, soothed by either hypnotic or acid basslines and ethereal passages. Because Deepneue is “the new deep” his sets will warp you in a cathartic dance journey,

Stefan, aka Etienn Grey, comes from a small Slovakian town near the high Tatra mountains, but he has not stayed in their shadow for too long. His flexible job allowed him to become a music nomad who’s witnessed techno scenes all over the globe. The covid era gave Etienn Grey a window in time to settle down in Prague where he transformed all the inspiration he absorbed, moving him from his favorite first row of the dancefloor, to the dj booth. Not short of determination things picked up pretty fast for him, with a highlight so far being djing a stage at @burningman festival this year. Etienn Grey also enjoys the role of a music curator. You can have a taste of his selections in the Deep ambient techno playlist that he curates on Spotify. 

We were thrilled to discover Etienn Grey through his first mix release titled Foundation. His mixing style and the raw music selection carries the inspiration of his biggest hero, @oscarmulerooficial, and is something we have been missing badly on the local scene.

In the 13th edition of the Weltraum podcast Etienn Grey invites us on a thrilling techno journey, rich in sounds and high in energy. As if composed in two chapters – it first unfolds in a tense, dark raw atmosphere eventually building up into an uplifting finale. The mix contains music from more than 20 producers; honourable mentions are Norbak, Kaiser, Arnaud Le Texier, Stef Mendesidis, and D.Dan.

The Poeticast returns for Episode 127 and we are delighted to welcome Hydrangea to the podcast.

Hydrangea is a French electronic producer, making techno music deeply inspired by nature and its surroundings. She began producing music in early 2014, influenced mainly by the deep and hypnotic techno landscapes.

Hydrangea has released her debut album on the Annulled Music imprint, called 'Dawn Lights', a sensorial trip that captures each of your senses. She also released an EP on Two&Two Records and tracks on VA compilations. 

Besides being constantly preoccupied in reshaping her sound and developing new ways of expression through music, she's also a graphic designer and photographer under the alias Horty Shooter, managing the artworks for different music releases and graphic art projects.

Episode 127 is a fantastic peregrination through an ambient soundscape that defines Hydrangea's work in the studio and live performances.

Hydrangea has had work released on Annulled, Absolute, Hypnotic Landscapes, Silent Seasons, and most recently Accent Records. The latest EP can be acquired on Bandcamp:

“My love and passion for music inspires me to continually find ways to grow as an artist. Building upon minimalistic techno of the 90’s as the foundation for my music, I love to experiment with different types of abstract techno, discovering new layers to the art.” - Tim van Paradijs 

Tim van Paradijs is a DJ, producer and label owner best known by his alias Invite. With an unwavering focus on music for more than two decades, Tim has established himself a firm position in the techno community, allowing him to share his talents in clubs all over Europe, as well as Russia and Asia. 

At his Utrecht-based studio, Tim combines the old with the new, using old-fashioned analogue machines to complement the latest recording and post-processing techniques. Tim’s DJ sets are a unique combination of old records coupled with the best of what modern day techno has to offer. 

In 2015, Tim launched his label, Invite’s Choice Records; a concept through which he aims to spread his love for electronic music as a whole and more specifically, techno music. Besides the label, the Invite’s Choice project currently also includes a well-received podcast series and his popular Label Nights, a showcase of talented artists. 

As label head, Tim signs EP’s by musicians who have been in the game for decades, while also maintaining his commitment to finding and supporting new artists. With his Label Nights showcases, Tim brings together a diverse roster of artists with a variety of experiences and approaches to their music. Tim combines it all in his own characteristic way.

Whether you watch him perform, listen to his label’s music or browse through his podcast series, you are sure to receive a thoughtfully and meticulously crafted collection of music, lovingly curated by Tim himself. We are delighted to celebrate our second anniversary with the danish dj & producer CTRLS (Token Records).

Hailing from Copenhagen, Denmark, our next guest is the mighty CTRLS, with a history in electronic music dating back to the 2000s.
Since a few years ago though, he has been delivering top-notch, no-nonsense techno under his CTRLS alias for Token.
He spent the last 10 years producing, performing, engineering and dj'ing various electronic genres around Europe and beyond. 
Troels continues to develop his fast paced and futuristic style, seeking out the various nuances of techno and the surrounding genres.
