The power of repetition as a ritual device, deliberately exceeding the form of the song to rather interfere with perceptual structures and mental states, activates imaginative potencies and hypnotic sequences capable of expanding and diminishing cognitive space with amplifying strategies of tribal tradition.

To hence an expression of a moment, a performance, which embraces imperfection in its inherent grace, unpolished.

Llive recording from the concert at ARKAD (Italy) on the 07.07.2024

The work is a commission of ARKAD Foundation / art gallery.

All sounds used in the live performance are a collection of processed field recordings of the sculptors at work during the third edition of the “Fusion” project.

The "Fusion III" project involved 10 sculptors of which 5 live in Italy and work with marble, and the other 5 living in Hong Kong working with wood. 

A total of 8 sculptures were made and are exhibited in Italy and Hong Kong.
