vol. 55 comes from Eastern Distributor, a fast-rising producer and DJ out of Warrang/Sydney with a penchant for creating and mixing energetic, proggy, trance-tinged techno, electro and broken beat. He's also one of the minds behind @shed_syd as well as resident at local techno party Renegade. Daniel's slew of self-releases and contributions to local labels like @innertheft and international labels likle @pokeyprods are all killer and his mixes are just as good, with the @bizarro-recs mix being one highlight. His melt mix treats us to an engaging selection of diverse electronica spanning a wide variety of genres, tempos and moods, from dubby slow jams to speedy prog. We love it!

Here's Mi and Markus aka Glasersfeld, well known along the Rhine and Ruhr for several excellently curated party series. Their Warning mix is a well selected journey through Breakbeats with sparkling acidish sprinkles on top, putting a toe in proggy Tech House bangers, classic Chicago voyages and Trancy hymns with the right amount of ethno vibes.

"Frell” by Orion is taken from the "Crom" EP, set for release on 12th November 2025 on Absence of Facts.

Absence of Facts helmsman Orion delivers the label’s next statement with the Crom EP. Presenting a vocabulary of raw, functional techno, this three-track offering is a masterclass in tension and stripped-down percussive elements, prioritizing hypnotic repetition and analog warmth.

The title track “Crom” establishes the EP’s intent: a locked, percussive groove that drives forward with raw intensity, built for maximum utility. “Drokk” maintains the pressure, weaving intricate, syncopated patterns over a stark, effective chassis. The narrative shifts with “Frell,” which closes the release.
