Born from a love of Sundays and community, Sunday Seshie is a space to shake off the Sunday scaries and reconnect with the environment around us. Soundtracked by feel-good, atmospheric sounds—ranging from ambient to downtempo to dub techno—we’re creating a cozy London gathering. To come relax, sip some wine or tea, doodle silly drawings provided by us, and simply just be present with those around you.

As someone who grew up on the coast, I've always been connected with the elements you can find in nature. My set from Sound by The Sea on April 13th 2025 in my hometown of San Diego, California recorded on a Mastersounds Valve MK2 rotary mixer. 

As my sound evolves, I feel like I’m coming into my natural rhythm of blending music across the globe into dub, downtempo/ambient, and techno. Whether that be Jamaican vocals, Qawwali fusions, flamenco or chaabi rhythms into electronic music. This set was a reflection of that shift with sounds that let me breathe.

The Love Letter 

As humans, we’re drawn to familiar sounds, patterns, and feelings. But it’s when we step outside of those patterns that something truly magical happens. When we break free of old cycles, we make room for something new.

As I was working through some pain last year, something shifted in me. I fell unexpectedly in love with techno. It’s the slow unfolding. The long, patient builds. The tension between pull and release. The way the music creates space not just for movement, but for breath and thoughts to soften.

This mix is dedicated to the unexpected dance floor. The space you entered with no expectations, only to be moved in ways you couldn’t have predicted. It’s continued journey of openness and transformation within ourselves. To the power of showing up, even when you least expect to be changed.

Rhythms Between Lines is back on voices radio this evening and I’ll be playing music from my travels around Denmark and Copenhagen. Some highlights of my trip are kune festival, a community led DIY festival off the island of Copenhagen. I’ll be playing an hour of dreamy indie pop into some of my favorite electronic bits i picked up from proton records!

A recording from my set at Jazz Cafe Festival in Burgess Park.

Instead of sticking with a genre or BPM, I mapped tracks around the globe from Mexico, Ghana, San Francisco, etc. Along the way, I layered vocals speaking about collective freedom and liberation. While also having fun with it by playing jay sean and busta rhymes. Every track holds a special place as I moved through dub techno to percussive house and ended with some 140 bits. I’ll never jump straight into energy regardless of the time, crowd, setting, etc. I’ll always do a nice warm up to get us there. Big ups to the beautiful crowd for packing the stage and dancing with me. Eternally greatful for @daytimers_uk for always platforming emerging South Asian talent❤️
