Find My Balance is the latest offering from Alexander IV - pseudonym of the eclectic Dutch producer, multi-instrumentalist and illustrious tunesmith, Joris Feiertag, who uses the Macedonian monarch’s title to delve into the more soulful side of his sonic output - taking in hip-hop, boogie, jazz and funk influences along the way.

With his latest, effortless outing Alexander IV transports us to the south of France courtesy of plaintive piano and handclaps making way for breezy beats and lonesome brass, complemented perfectly by the soulful vocals of young singer-songwriter Leonard Luka.

Hailing from The Netherlands, with Indonesian roots, Luka is something of a rising star on the electronic end of the R&B scene. His understated, sophisticated delivery belies his tender years, and here provides the perfect foil to Joris’ carefree instrumentation.

Alexander IV’s music fuses organic and electronic elements with ease, which isn’t surprising given the artist’s experience not only as a consummate dance music maker, but also as drummer of choice for Dutch superstars Kraak & Smaak. His music delivers something brand new yet retro; uncomplicated yet masterful.

Neon Ghosts is our little detour into a completely different world – away from the dark realms, diving into a synthetic ocean of neon lights, retro beats, and cyberpunk melancholy. This synthwave–electro–ambient album is a passion project by Raphaela Hartmann, Sascha Häusler, and Thomas Kaiser – all devoted fans of synthwave and cyberpunk culture.

We simply couldn’t resist exploring this genre ourselves – painting glitch-stars across the digital sky and creating soundscapes that feel like neon rain, chrome dreams, and distant cityscapes.

This is just our first step – an experiment, a side project made with love and pure fun.

The album intends to stimulate reflections on ourselves, what we are – and what we want to be. The tracks want to give us the resources for new beautiful dreams and encourage us to escape from the shallowness of everyday life for some moments.
Inspired by his own experiences, by the people he loves, by the beloved landscapes and fragrances around him, Eskadet allows us a glimpse on his inner dreams and desires for his own future and the future of our world.
Without forgetting his roots he has managed to continually developing his unique Eskadet sound. All those who have been listening to his earlier works will nevertheless recognize his production style and will definitely find his lush pads and catchy grooves again.

We Are All Astronauts - Surrender (Holden & Thompson 'Nothing' Acapella Version)

Two years after the release of his acclaimed Erased Tapes debut, ‘The Transition’, Californian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist David Allred returns with a solo piano perspective on the album, aptly titled Felt The Transition — out December 18.

"Felt The Transition is a new minimalist solo piano perspective on my experimental chamber folk album previously released in 2018, called The Transition. This music is reinterpreted on my 114 year old upright piano which was very kindly donated to me by my friend Adam Selzer who previously ran a recording studio in Portland called Type Foundry. This piano is very sentimental to me as it was used by a handful of my favorite musicians on their albums over the past 20 years, namely Peter Broderick’s ‘How They Are‘ and ‘Two Balloons’.” — David Allred
