This week was all about Ableton Live’s ‘Granulator III’. I found it to be a pretty challenging week, as ‘Granulator III’ tends to behave quite unpredictably. When working with samples, there are often clicking sounds that you don’t really want in the audio. I’m still not entirely sure how to get rid of them effectively.

For now, I’ve solved it by shortening the notes in the piano roll where the clicks occur. But I’m not sure if that’s the best approach, since it also changes the sound and rhythm – and sometimes, that’s exactly what you don’t want.
