Three mates (Deniz Ağan, Sedat Girgin, Can Tunaboylu) from art school met long ago. They were into drawing, painting and all but their passion in common was the golden era of rock, 60’s and 70’s. From Erik Koray to Led Zeppelin, from the Beatles to the Who they ears were full of good stuff. They decided to play together and by 2007 they formed the band “Eskiz”, won Roxy Music Days Award (an established contest in Turkey known to be the discovery stage of “newcomer” acts). Their official debut came by 2014 “Kimsenin Ruhu Duymaz” that came with an award-winning music video “O” and followed by a heavier-darker-rock’n’roll EP “Türkçe Sözlü Ağır Müzik” including smell-like-hit tracks as “Inadına Tersine”, “Sakar Şakir”, “Patron”… 2015 came with a member change, as the drummer Sedat Girgin became one of the most demanded super talent young illustrators (Eskiz artworks are his); Uygar Çetiner got on board. Their participation to RedBull Warmup serie and an outstanding performance at Zeytinli Rock Festival spread the word. Now they are working on their second LP, expected to be out late 2016.
