A trademark feature of his versatile and dynamic sets, Chris Stussy’s long list of unreleased productions across the years has meant fans have always been treated with snippets of what’s to come from the Amsterdam-based talent. And while his Up The Stuss imprint houses a large percentage of these secret weapons, the curated approach to the label’s release schedule has meant that a new project has been in the works for a while now. Introducing UTSOFF - a special series that builds on the label’s forward-thinking ethos when it comes to house music from across the spectrum. Locked away in the vault while being tried and tested on special occasions, including his Printworks debut and recent Mixmag Lab in London, there’s no better way to kick things off than opening with ‘All Night Long’ - a signature Stussy production that looks set to elevate his rise even further via a skilfully crafted journey through rich synth melodies, skippy drums, and the iconic vocals at the heart of things. Not stopping there, the b-side is loaded with the warping and cosmic sonics of the excellent ‘Rose Bay’ for a special bonus treat.

Huxley makes his DFTD debut with ‘House It Up’, an expertly sampled outing of vocal house with a serious club groove. Over the course of ten years, Huxley’s versatile sound has seen him grow from rising star to international leader and mentor. From early Boiler Room sets and Defected collabs with Shenoda, to headline appearances at Amnesia Ibiza, then coaching with industry leaders for Mixmasters - there is little Huxley cannot do. His latest release on London club label, ‘House It Up’ demonstrates a cool underground feel, thanks to a distinctive vocal sample underpinned by a hypnotically wonky sub bass that ebbs and flows with ease.

MELATUNE006 presents artist Conrado Novillo, who joins us on our journey with his debut EP 'Chernny Protocol'. The EP explores underground minimal, balancing mysterious tension with playful textures while guiding the listener through layers of energy.

Bez Otveta blends minimal and breakbeat to recreate the feeling of an unanswered call. Silent March continues with a quiet yet captivating march. Chernny closes with intense techno, a solid groove, and a dark vocal that dominates the atmosphere. Together, these three tracks create a layered journey, each opening a different door to the same underground universe.

The US based DJ and producer has recently risen up the Tech House ranks after a string of successful releases on lauded labels; Relief, Hot Creations, Repopulate Mars, Sola and elrow which have won him the respect of Pete Tong, Jamie Jones, Lee Foss and MK who have all supported his music in their sets. ‘Passion’ replicates Eskuche’s renowned sound; hard hitting rhythmic drums, clever kicks, signature grooves and a heavy bass line. ‘Won’t Stop’ rounds off the EP; a deep, rumbling groove with heavyweight house percussion and a pulsating bass line which underpins a hypnotic, dubbed out vocal lick.
