This is a cinematic sound journey. A deep dive into the past mind of its creator. A purging of a dark story.
During his teens and twenties, Esky was addicted to ice and in constant trouble with the law. Every lyric in this project was written during that period. Although Esky wanted to be a rapper, the toxic lifestyle he was living got in the way of putting anything he wrote to good use.
10+ years late, he has built himself up to be a successful and powerful individual. With an album recorded and ready for release, Esky decided he wanted to tell his back story before releasing any newer music.
The Saturn Ep is that back story. An opportunity to put the listener into his mind so that they can understand what he has lived through.
Context is important. This project is the context.
The first release of a trilogy series, which will all thread together.
The Saturn EP is the prequel to the soon-to-be-released, The Saturn Return LP.

Esky hopes that this EP helps shine a light on the world of drug addiction, as well as inspire the listener to recognise that they have the ability to overcome their shadows, no matter how dark it gets.
