Wessanders’ journey towards the zenith of his own creativity is, by design, filled with curious and unexpected turns and jaunts away from the typical. His aversion to the mundane and clear attraction to ideas and compositions beyond the pale has begotten him a rock-solid catalog of original music, and his latest addition to his growing arsenal typifies the pleasant surprises constantly under his purview. The Talking Points EP contains his clearest, cleanest executions to date, showcasing a producer and composer with a clear bent for breaking the mold.


Talking Points comes jam-packed with the effective and infectious midtempo that Wessanders cut his teeth on, updated and upgraded to reflect his current command over sound design and arrangement archetypes. Through both melodious narratives and rambunctious low end, he achieves the storied balance between rocking a sound system to the gills and inflecting on pure groove. Rounding off the end of the EP is perhaps the most ambitious Wessanders production to date, featuring a full-fledged journey through the newfound contemporary power of dnb. It’s a complete package, giving listeners a taste of both his time-honed territories and recent explorations within the wide umbrella of bass music. This is my first all-original mix. 
This was a lot more difficult than I anticipated. Whenever I write music, I don't write them with the notion of Djing them into a mix. My range of BPMs and Keys were all over the place, so it was tough to tastefully blend these tracks together without a filler track. 
Either way, this made me a better Dj in the end.

ArkType - Mountain Standard Guest Mix

Hello everyone! :) I am the music producer Peanutbutter Willaims. I proudly present to you my Tipper & Friends 2022 Mix competition submission titled "Back 2 Where We Came From". This is a 45 min Journey mix. Once you guys announced the contest I then decided to create all brand new original music to use just for this mix. I spent over a month creating the music for this mix. So I ended up making a parcel of brand new original music all in the key of C minor to take you on this musical journey. This quickly became a project that meant something very special to me. My visual collaborator Seth Hopton/Hopper Visuals, and I have spent day and night for over a month creating this project. I spent every hour I had working on the music while Seth would sit in the studio with me creating 3D visuals to use to create a visual mix to go along with it. I dug deep into all my musical influences to curate the music for this project spanning over many genres. Many sleepless days and nights went into creating this for you guys. We hope you have as much of a journey listening to this mix as we did creating it. I wanna thank Dave Tipper, and his team from the bottom of my heart for having this competition. It made us pull something magical from within ourselves to push the limits mentally, physically, and spiritually to create this. So for that i am forever grateful that no matter what happens we made this piece of art to share with the world because they decided to allow us artists to submit a project to them to be considered to perform at their event. Dave Tipper has been one of my biggest musical inspirations, and it is an honor to submit music to him, and his team. The visual mix will be uploaded to the Peanutbutter Williams YouTube page. Tip N Friends Suwannee 2022 Submission Scratch Mix

The contemporary cross-pollination of electronic genres and styles has a way of bringing out the very best of daring, boundary-pushing musicians and creatives. Hailing from Essenbach, Germany, the contemporary producer and songwriter duo Dysfunctional Family has a bevy of obvious talents all suffusing together; from synth work to drum programming, harmonic interplay, and the massaging of the vibe, their work has a way of setting the bar a few notches higher, and is consequently gestating a particularly driven sound. As a result, The Rust is extraordinarily excited to present their latest minted works, the 10-track LP A Day At The Beach.

Walking through the front door of the album puts the listener on prime, beachfront real-estate; A Day At The Beach is quintessentially a collection of downbeat, IDM-infused tracks that flip between pulsating low end and extremely lush compositional dialogue. this album is the sound of a heart breaking in a city that never stops glowing.

it lives in that emo space where everything feels too loud and too quiet at the same time then slams into edm / hybrid trap energy with y2k bass grit. the synths are emotional but sharp, the drums hit like a panic you can dance through, and the glitches feel like the moment you realize you’re not getting that text back. it’s messy in a good way: beautiful melodies, raw low-end, and distorted edges that make the sadness feel physical.

think late-night neon, headphones at 1am, bass that sounds like regret, and a drop that feels like you finally letting go.
