"The Library of Alexandria was one of the largest, most significant and renowned libraries of the ancient world, containing works by the greatest philosophers and writers of antiquity including Homer, Plato, Socrates and many more. The details about its founding is a mixture of history and legend, with its earliest source being the Pseudepigraphic Letter of Aristeas which claimed that the library was founded during the reign of Ptolemy I Soter and was organized by Demetrius Of Phalerum. The main idea with the creation of the library was to envisage and encompass a larger worldview collecting knowledge from the greatest minds of the entire world through an aggressive and well funded practice of book purchasing. The library also served as a home to host international scholars, poets, and intellectual minds who were provided with large salaries, free food and exemption of taxes. The decline of the library started when Ptolemy VIIII Physcon expelled scholars from Alexandria and later when part of its collection was accidentally burned by Julius Caesar during his civil war in 48 BC. "

Rafa Lutz é um Dj e produtor de Balneário Camboriú/SC. Atualmente, Lutz faz parte da família Tiosam Music. Lançou 2 EP’s para a label britânica, Vintage Music Label e um single para a Triade Records. 

Rafa sempre esteve envolvido com a organização de festas na sua região, produzindo ou se apresentando. Ele também é residente e curador do projeto “OFF Independente”, núcleo que tem chamado muita atenção no sul do Brasil, e residente da label Paradise Sessions.

Rafa Lutz is a DJ and producer from Balneário Camboriú / SC. Lutz is currently part of the Tiosam Music family. He released 2 EP's for a British label, Vintage Music Label and a single for Triade Records.

Rafa has always been present with the organization of parties in his region, producing or standing out. He is also a resident and curator of the “OFF Independente” project, a nucleus that has attracted a lot of attention in southern Brazil, and a resident of the label Paradise Sessions.

Unlike many probably have thought, alchemy dealt with much more than the conversion of metals. The transmutation of lead to gold was a mere analogy for personal transmutation, purification, and perfection - known today as the act of transcending one’s life. At the time, Alchemists sought to create the philophoner’s stone - a stone that was also called the Elixir of life; granting immortality for the one who possessed it - through the Magnum Opus, also called the Great Work. 

It was also believed that those who went through the Great Work would be able to achieve the perfection of human body and soul, reaching the Gnostic state, according to Hellenistic and Esoterism.   Moreover, the creation of Panaceas was one of the highest goals of alchemy from those times. Named after the Greek goddess of medicine of universal remedy, Panacea is any given remedy that can cure all diseases and prolong life indefinitely. In addition to the creation of such medicine, the development of an Alkahest - a universal solvent - was also a remarkable achievement that alchemist were looking to achieve back then.  

Nowadays, we see alchemy taking place in alternative medicines like Ayurveda, Herbalism, Reiki and other kinds of holistic and natural medicines. In nature we see caterpillars turning in to butterflies, the evaporation of water through the element of fire - the sun - in to a finer, less dense element; making our soil more fertile as the end result."

About the artist:
Martini aka Soul Alchemist started producing techno in 2015. In the same year the artist received an opportunity to work abroad where he played in many venues in China, Philippines and Malaysia, where he got invited to participate in a Mixmag edition and do the warm up for the renowned Malayan name RaySoo (Love International). Still in Malaysia, Soul Alchemist had the opportunity to play at Elysium Hotel, where master duo Hunter/Game played weeks later. After this trip, Martini alongside some of his friends created Tiosam Music, a nucleus composed by producers from Florianopolis and Balneário Camboriú which is now Esoteric Records. Musically wise his productions display melancholic melodies, driving basslines, and huge brasses. His sets will vary from progressive house and melodic techno. Soul Alchemist latest releases were featured on Us and Them, WOOD Limited, Arkhamra, Trippy Code and Esoteric. He also received big support from Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, østill (Afterlife), SOEL (Afterlife), Erly Tepshi (Black Rose), Paulo Foltz (Prisma), Mila Journée, Greg Ignatovich, David Di Sabato, Raphael Mader and many more.
