Serving as a soundtrack to the Balearic region as well as addition to the genre, The Last Resort brings some usual and unusual suspects to set the sun on a paradise lost in time. 
Lord Of The Isles is a one of a kind producer. For a long time we have been following his work, which never ceases to amaze with its multifaceted and eclectic taste for electronic music, he can make the dance floor groan and at the same time release Balearic and ambient music, we listen to his track for the Portuguese label Secrets of Sound now.

Oriental acid, frenzied samples, low hanging film noir suspense. This is DALO. Or not. She is many. Dry maniac downbeat is her craft. Or dark-ish pop-not-pop. There is dub, trance, techno, too. She is known for releases on labels like ESP Institute, WARNING, or Tresor. She is part of bands like Init. She played them all, those clubs, that matter, and those that matter more. Live. Alone. As an artist. With a band. Here she comes with her first album. On the R.i.O. sphere. Her homebase. A trusted zone for experimentation. She brings “Duster”. Seven tunes twisted in different dreams. Fast, slow, veiled, enchanted, haunting trenchant. She sings. These songs. To dance. For a different, stripped-back trance. DALO. Her record longs for a stage. Exporting grace, face to face. Swedish musician Moonilena has been a familiar face amidst underground circles for several years now having released poignant, emotive, sometimes dance focussed music on the likes of Belters and Studio Barmhus amongst others. In fact she actually recorded a mix for us previously.

However, around a month ago we were prompted to explore her new material by a good friend. Music which is removed from the club and explores the deeper, more pensive, fluid tendencies of her musical persona. Her new album ‘Minnet’ is forthcoming on Moloton and sees the Stockholm based audiology student focus more on the intricacies of sound design as she explores ambient textures across the LP.

So, this mix sits somewhere alongside that – an ode to the influences which have helped formulate a new musical perspective if you will.

Lose yourself this Monday in an array of thoughtful sounds.

Earlier this month, UK-based acid house legend @ramjac performed a live reel-to-reel session at Inverted Audio Record Store in Peckham alongside the release of an exclusive cassette ‘Bibec Studio Extracts 1994 – 1995’ featuring five archive productions.

Marking our first ever live set at Inverted Audio Record Store, Ramjac did not disappoint, bringing a wealth of reels, analog equipment and raw experience, resulting in an enthralling performance of acid breakbeat and house music, plus an unheard version of Ramjac's cult classic 'Cameroon Massif!'.

We'd like to extend a big thank you to everyone that made it down to the record store, especially those that travelled all the way from Switzerland and the Czech Republic. Big up to Paul Chivers aka Ramjac Corporation for driving all the way from Somerset to perform in London. It's not often you get to witness a reel-to-reel set, this was a totally unique and spectacular live performance.

Our next in-store event will take place on Saturday 18th May (5-8pm) with London-based record label @baroquesunburst featuring strictly vinyl DJ sets from co-founders Big Hands, Soreab and special guests. We’ll have vinyl copies from Baroque Sunburst's discography on sale and free beer from Brixton Brewery.
