Introducing [GIFKIKKER011]. The debut of Blossoms Overnight, that sits you down in a euphoric, soft-tinted atmosphere from the get-go. While vibrant scapes get interwoven, accessed, or accompanied by smooth percussion, the listener is exposed to the act of exploring sounds underneath what’s already there.
Metaphorically, this album is cleansing, as foam gliding over a windshield in a brush-style carwash, resembling crashing sea waves as seen from underwater. It prescribes a mesmerizing softness and dense relaxation, while the mind and soul are carelessly taken on a sweet ride through dubby hypnoticness with breaky features.

Topping off this stellar release is a beautiful remix by a. brehme, aligning with the inner feel of the EP.

A Dub Techno Journey is a compilation that traverses Dantes circles of Hell, transforming them into hypnotic and profound soundscapes. Each track represents a canto from Dantes Inferno, interpreted by producers from different parts of the world, united by a shared sensitivity for dub techno vibrations. The idea was conceived by Francesco Tamburrano, who envisioned a musical journey blending literature and sonic exploration, and took shape through the collaboration with the label Superordinate, always attentive to visionary projects with an international scope. The result is a dark and immersive path, where enveloping basslines and deep echoes guide the listener on a sonic pilgrimage through Dantes Inferno.

Yes, One Hundred! Wow! Morris Audio’s 100th release is a milestone for one of the most productive labels from Switzerland. Morris Audio started 18 years ago, the sublabel Morris Audio Citysport 15 years ago. With a total of more than 150 releases, the labels have been making their marks by presenting different types of electronic music, from techno to minimal to deep house with everything in between. Combining established producers and youngsters, Morris Audio has an impressive artist roaster. Remember the likes of Dub Taylor, Jackmate, Hakan Lidbo, Burnski, Till von Sein, Kris Wadsworth, Iron Curtis, Oli Furness, Dash Dude, Tom Ellis&Leif or Brame just to name a few? It has been “club and home entertainment” for years and we celebrate this 100th release with two parts of well crafted tech/house tunes. After the superb reception of part 1, here’s Part 2 (well let’s call it “global house”) and features Zito Mowa (South Africa), homeboy Shaka (Switzerland), and Morris lads Souichiro Masutomi (Japan) and Italia 90 (UK). "Feeling You" is the first single from David Marston's debut album. The song that highlights the hedonism often associated with nightlife and music culture. The song was written by David Marston and Craig Williamson during a studio session at Marston’s former home in Kingston, Jamaica. It begins with Williamson’s crooning voice scatting and making seemingly indiscernible melodic utterances over a skeletal rhythm. The instrumental soon starts to gain body and muscle, gradually morphing into an hypnotic beat with a swirling arpeggiated synth, punchy bass hits, and stomping drums. Williamson cooly sings about seduction, over-indulgence, and drug consumption during a late night out in the club. 

Notably, Italian DJ and production duo, Lowheads, have crafted a first-rate classic house remix of the song, as well as a dub mix that make up additional tracks on the release. In contrast to the trippy, down-tempo quality of the original, Lowheads’ two renditions give the song an exemplary and buoyant dancoor-floor makeover that are extremely DJ friendly.

Feeling You (feat. Craig Williamson)

British staples Charles Webster and Swag contribute two dancefloor driven remixes of songs from the beautifully rich and downbeat debut album from Australian producer Peret Mako.

With his interpretation of ‘Export’ Charles Webster expertly weaves the vocals of Tania Bowra into a sensual nugget of 4am bliss, tried and tested on the Future Classic dancefloor by Charles himself on his recent visit to Australian shores. 

The flip shows Swag in a bumpin’ and grindin’ state of mind with a jackin’ hip house groove, chunky drums and the deft musicality synonymous with their productions.

‘The Devils In The Detail’ album has won praise from media & djs alike with accolades coming in from allies such as Henrik Schwarz, Slope, Quarion, Dirk Rumpff … the usual suspects… for its deep musicality, layering and attention to detail.
