Alexis Le-Tan is a dear friend of ours, and has shared a musical sympatico with our family for over a decade, regularly collaborating with the ESP Institute and Blackdisco. So it is with great pleasure that we christen the Listening Sessions series with this beautifully melancholic mix from Monsieur L'Agent himself.

Hey Convict! is a duo originating from Melbourne, Australia and over many years they've championed a sound that we happily cannot describe. Tamas Jones now resides in Sydney and Jason Evans in New York City, but their telepathic vibe is stronger than any hemisphere can break. Enjoy this mix they call Gone Troppo—an oldie but a goody finding its final resting place in our Listening Sessions series.

Yet another diamond in the rough from down under, Sydney-based Steele Bonus has played quite a crucial role in our family tree. Since having crashed on the floor in Lovefingers' downtown Manhattan flat for over a month, back in 2007, Steele and the ESP Institute have maintained a robust dialogue in terms of forgotten and rare music from around the world. You may consider this mix an introduction to an enlightened mind.

In this episode of the Metamorphosen Series, the two Hamburg based DJs, Internet Offline and Junus created an abstract ride trough recent favorites. The recording seems to be haunted, because as if by magic it has disappeared twice. Now it's here! And what a mix it is. Earthy, bubbly and drummy sounds, mystical tones paired with dubby basses. A trancedental roller coaster!

Not least because of their shared passion for music and art, the two often work together and are involved in numerous projects and events. Playing together, listening to each other, trying out and changing new things is evident in this mix!  Four ears hear more than two!

Met at dawn behind the turntables of a neo-hippie seaside festival on a mythical Mediterranean island, @dangerdangerdave proved to be a dangerously good selector and DJ as well as an all-around lovely guy. 

DJing in the Berlin underground and at parties and Festivals in Europe, he always brings the good vibes w/ the finest 80's funk, disco, cosmic and edits.

For Music for Indoors, he took the breezy side streets of his musical taste, teasing us only at the mix's end, with the prospect of arriving at a party where he's playing. Before that, he coasts us through hazy 80's island-influenced vibes. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the trip. ⛵️ Many thanks Dave :)
