Next mix for the series broadcasted from the Tuscan Fango Radio is made by the Berlin-based field recordist, composer, filmmaker, visual artist and Melantónia's collaboration partner Pablo Diserens.
Blending a rich variety of located sounds with texts, analog photographs and video, Diserens' work brings the bio- and geological features of the explored environments to the foreground. They also compose electroacoustic sound pieces by fusing and altering an array of found sounds, objects and self-made instruments. 
Since its foundation, Pablo takes care of all artworks of Melantónia's record releases.

À travers un espace urbain en travaux, Secousse est une phonographie réalisée sur plusieurs mois relatant mon désir d’écouter les changements, vibrations, porosités habitant cet espace. Construite autour de motifs revenant de manière cyclique, cette pièce retrace une trajectoire d’écoute voulant reconsidérer, conscientiser, mettre en forme des sons urbains et leurs influences au sein d’une place publique.

Cette phonographie a été réalisée dans le cadre d’un workshop à l’ENSAV (École Nationale Supérieur de l’Audiovisuel) réalisé par Stéphane Marin de la compagnie Espaces Sonores que je remercie pour ses écoutes et son accompagnement.

• 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗣𝗗𝗙 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗹𝗲𝘁 • 

For its third release, forms of minutiae presents ‘possible moistures’ a non-profit compilation of field recordings and soundscape compositions derived from various aqueous environments and their autochthons. 

This gathering is made of 16 sonic encounters collected by field recordists and sound artists across the world. Artists were invited to submit sounds from marine and aquatic-related events, phenomena, geologies, fauna, flora, geographies, and technologies. From the thawing acoustics of Icelandic and Antarctic glaciers to the non-human voices of Australian wetlands, while meeting sea and river dwellers, the listeners embark on a sonic journey across the globe’s possible moistures. 

All proceeds from this release will be donated to the organisation Atelier Bleu - Centre Permanent d'Initiatives pour l'Environnement de la Côte Provençale to support them in their aim to conserve and protect Posidonia Oceanica seagrass species and to accompany ecological transitions on the Mediterranean coastal lands of the Côte Provençale (France) by encouraging eco-responsible behaviour through education, training and awareness actions. They especially work closely with the region’s youth to raise their environmental awareness by offering workshops and activities to discover the maritime and terrestrial environments: underwater snorkelling trails, guided walks, etc. 

This compilation has been made available to the Atelier Bleu as a resource which they can present to the children as part of their educational workshops.

Voici une carte postale sonore de l’Albanie où nous sommes allés avec Théalie en septembre 2021. Vous y entendrez l’ambiance de la place principale de Tirana, des joueurs de domino sur la place de Berat (jeu très prisé des anciens), une ambiance des rue étroites des villes du pays. Nous irons ensuite à la campagne avec le son du vent dans les fruits de l’épine du christ, arbuste très présent en Albanie. Nous entendrons les sonorités typiques des différents types d’élevage (vaches, chèvres…) avec les cris si étonnants des bergers. Je ne pouvais omettre un extrait d’une belle rencontre que j’ai faite avec un habitant du sud de l’Albanie, Gani Alliu, avec qui j’ai sympathisé et qui m’a fait visiter son jardin. Nous terminerons par les ambiances nocturnes avec le Grillon à chant doux et le Grillon d’Italie qui ponctuent les nuits de leurs chants envoûtants.

Arne Naess vorbește despre cum un loc, orice loc, poate deveni acasă - un ecosistem de relații, simboluri, ritualuri, viețuitoare, plante care se  află în interdependență cu omul. Această descriere este singura pe care am găsit-o în rezonanță cu ce trăiesc și eu, de câțiva ani, în sat. O casă străină devine acasă, locuind-o, ascultând-o. "Ecosofie", piesă care își împrumută numele de la conceptul lui Naess, a început cu picurii unei ploi într-un tub de aluminiu, dimineața. Toate sunetele sunt înregistrate și performate în jurul casei noastre, fac parte din ritmurile și imaginile cu care trăim împreună.

Listen to Diarmuid McIntyre, HearSay International Audio Arts Festival's director and co-founder talking about "The Unheard Walks" site specific augmented soundwalk by Stéphane Marin. 

 "Every two years, a mountain village of seven hundred people in Western Ireland hosts over 400 festival-goers for the HearSay International Audio Arts Festival. It is a one-of-a-kind festival featuring award-winning, international audio artists, producers and audiophiles at the intersections of radio, podcasting, theatrical sound design, film sound, sound installations, musical performance, experimental audio and more. If it makes sound, or even if it doesn't, it's welcome in Kilfinane. Nikki Martin, host of KBOO's quarterly Threshold Shift series, was able to sit down with the festival director and co-founder, Diarmuid McIntyre, to chat about his recollections of the festival six years on. Several of the festival's presenters and award winners have contributed to this evening's show."

The originality of the company "Espaces Sonores" is based on a radical approach to sound and musical composition developed in close collaboration with the sites where we work.
The sound is always the driving force behind our work, which then opens up to other artistic disciplines. The latter then blends with the sound, music and text, to offer new vistas, new perspectives.

Stéphane MARIN:
Acteur du développement de l’art sonore en espaces libres (Espaces Sonores - Lieux Publics - Décor Sonore), ​​​compositeur de musiques électroacoustiques multiphoniques pour le spectacle vivant en espace public (2ème Groupe d'Intervention, Osmosis Cie) Stéphane Marin s’investit depuis plus de 10 ans dans ces aventures artistiques qui prennent la ville comme lieu de résonance, comme matériau vivant pour la composition de nouvelles formes musicales et sonores.

Il crée en 2008 ESPACES SONORES, dont le travail repose sur une approche radicale de la composition élaborée en lien étroit avec les espaces où sera entendue l'oeuvre. Il y conçoit des créations sonores contextuelles pour sites spécifiques.

C'est à la frontière entre l'écoute du paysage sonore in situ et la composition, dans la porosité que propose l'oeuvre qui se frotte au réel, que s'engage son travail.​​​
Sa trajectoire artistique, écologique et spirituelle le rapproche chaque jour un peu plus près du silence.
