Sunglasses on, I settle into a camping chair as the psychedelic downtempo beats of the second day at Parallel Festival unfold. Feeling completely at ease, I sway to the music, and later, I rise from the chair to float, ensuring this magical moment becomes a cherished memory."

Hailing from Montevideo, Uruguay, Melina Serser (@melinaserser) began her musical odyssey in 2010 under the mentorship of Dj Koolt, emerging as a dedicated record collector. Over the past decade, she has developed a distinctive and refined musical style, establishing her standing as a respected downtempo maestro, recognized for her unique slow but danceable sound. In each performance, she skillfully mix a harmonious fusion of tribal rhythms, dub, ambient, down-tempo, mid-tempo and electronica. In her musical exploration, Melina is not merely a performer; she becomes a storyteller, guiding listeners through a sonic journey that resonates with emotions, symbols, and Groove. The immersive nature of her sets invites the audience to transcend the ordinary, embracing a transformative experience that engaging in an immersive experience that leaves a lasting impact beyond the performance. As a prominent figure in the European music scene, Melina, has performed on prestigious stages, including Primavera Sound, Dekmantel, Houghton, Paral·lel, Dimensions, Waking Life, and other top festivals around the globe.

Aesthetic and vision for the dance floor is unique in our country. @frantios was a resident for many years at the mythical Le Club, in Valencia, and his sound was forged in the time of the "Ruta" and it shows, not only for what he spins, but for how he does it. With Fran, avant-garde and experimentation do not have to be at odds with dancing.

The recording of my set from La Nature Festival, recorded 12-3PM on a glorious sunny Sunday on the 23rd of June 2024.

This was one of my favourite sets this summer, I was so honoured to be playing before the legendary DJ Nobu, and spent time preparing for this set gathering bright~dubby~daytime techno with a zippy flair and uplifting energy 🧚

The set features lots of tracks I’ve been enjoying this summer, including music by: Tsott, GiGi FM, Azu Tiwaline, Vladw, Al Wootton, Sindh, Luigi Tozzi, Konduku, Stojche, Ness, Ruman, Rene Wise, Fireground, Forest On Stasys, Kohra & Midnight Traffic +++

'Thank you, Adam, for the opportunity to do a guest mix. I feel fortunate to contribute to your wonderful platform and be a part of its final chapters. I’ve recently been digging into halftime and came across some fun and interesting tunes and wanted to make a mix that flows through various moods and flavors to brighten any day while listening to it. Selection-wise, nothing was off the table. This is a studio mix rather than a DJ set, but I ended up DJing the entirety. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.'
