Octo Åeterna joins us with a live recording of his DJ Set from Onyro Methods night at Espacio Perpendicular located in Madrid, Spain in February of this year.

Expect a somewhat eclectic set which Octo himself defines as  “A breakfast in DUB”.  A session made from 10am to 1pm of experimental beats for a 3 hours long trip going from different intentionality’s and emotions but at the same time, with a core sound thats the conductor element of the session.

"Out now: the recording of my DJ set at Perpendicular Festival (for those who know ;) ). This year, I had the opportunity to play on Friday during the first hours of the festival. Keeping in mind that people were just beginning to arrive, the idea of the set was to balance between slow beats, downtempo flavors, and transitions into more dance-oriented movements.

This project also defines the transformation of the artist that has developed under different aliases for many years.

Each interpretation is made to create an atmosphere based on sound art, generative art and Techno in its different variations.

For this one, meet T.Modet, aka Lydia Gonzalez, whose music collection spans a vast spectrum of styles, offering endless possibilities. T.Modet's eclectic sets begin at a slow, warm tempo and then take the audience over the top with sharper, more somber beats. Lydia's profound connection with music wasforged during her global travels from a young age, drawing inspiration from the world's primitive sounds. In Seville, she delved into flamenco, rock, folk, and soundtracks, expanding into electrified realms like tech break, house, electro, Balearic, downtempo, and breakbeat during her teen years.

About Mostra:
Mostra is a cultural proposal for the city of Barcelona that includes an electronic music festival and many other parallel activities all through the year. An independent, small-format festival of avant-garde and experimental electronic music which emerges as a counterpoint to the macro-festivals and the overcrowded, commercial and rather impersonal offerings of other large events.

Mostra's third edition took place between the 28th and 31st March. T.Modet's three-hour set opened the last day of performances at the iconic Castell de Montjuïc on Sunday the 31st. March.

"After drifting apart for such long years we were able to collide again live at Mostra, Romi on the beats, controlling the energy and Javier on dubs and bass creating an abstract floor to thrive on 2 octatracks, a machinedrum, an sp404 and FXs over a shared mixer with burning incense floating.

Mostra is a gem and having its team and crowd so close while playing was a total highlight forever. 
An unknown sound issue on the recording of the set had us remove the last 40 minutes so we will not remember how the experience finished. Thanks everyone."

the sound in the room was truly stunning (thanks Jai <3) and watching one of our favourite DJs close an RZB night, nestled in front of aevi's visuals on an enormous (almost didn’t fit in the room) projector screen was quite a moving experience—a huge thanks again to all the crew, artists and dancers who brought this to life.

Jacopo Severitano, also known as Severja, is an Italian multi-disciplinary artist, DJ, and the visionary behind Midgar Records. 

Now based in Berlin, Severja has spent the past decade curating Midgar Records, shaping its distinct and aesthetically captivating identity. As a label owner he has ensured a sound aesthetic that defies genre categorization, but maintains a common thread of quality. With a diverse roster of artists including Agonis, Aa Sudd, Wata Igarashi, Tammo Hesselink, Polygonia, Forest Drive West, Ruff Cherry, and Keplrr to name a few, Midgar Records continually pushes the boundaries of electronic music, offering listeners an immersive and innovative auditory experience.

Severja’s versatile approach to DJing spans a broad spectrum of electronic music genres, including ambient, techno, drum and bass, experimental music, trance, and house to name a few. Timnah’s signature approach to earthy dance music has been tried, tested and approved by swinging hips all over Europe. During her residencies at Hinterhof Bar and Elysia, Timnah‘s sets fluently cover (and transcend) shades of techno, experimental and ambient music, establishing her as a firm favourite amongst dancers and peers.
