Tronik Youth (SXDNS050/TAKEOVER001) needs no introduction. But let’s say a few words about him for the sinners out there who are not that familiar with his career, shall we? First things first: The man is a living legend! If the so-called Indie Dance/Dark Disco scene is in steady growth, it is also because of the reach of NEIN Records, his very own label. A platform whose massive audience has been helping to promote the work of not only acclaimed & rising artists but also skilled wannabes for 10 years. His prolific output keeps flirting with perfection, not for nothing is he so requested for remixes and collaborations.

Despite having his work published on other acclaimed imprints such as Espacio Cielo, Roam, Controlla, Rotten City Files, Regith, Logical, Me Me Me, and Eskimo, just to name a few, Tronik’s 2023 so far has focused exclusively on NEIN. After a string of remixes for Sarv, Blavatsky & Tolley, and Celestino (yours truly), he finally brings to life his first EP of the year: “10PM”, a top-notch darkness-infused singles with remixes made with love by Louis de Tomaso and Oltrefuturo. Premiered here, the former’s version.

Louis de Tomaso, whose latest endeavours came out on Polari, HEARec, Exploited, Wrong Era, and Ritmo Fatale, brought a “10AM-at-Panorama-Bar” version to the party. His 128-BPM interpretation is definitely a peak-time beast wealthy in creativity and expertise with powerful synth layers, frolic laser-like FXs, and a throbbing bassline, resulting in a Hi-NRG-on-acid cut. Kudos!

After his well-received single “Sehnsucht”, released in 2020, his forthcoming EP on the Spanish powerhouse brings two massive originals, inspired by lucid dreams on Robert Johnson’s and Panorama Bar’s dance floors, and three essential remixes made with love by none other than Bonnie Spacey (SXDNS337/BLOG010), Endrik Schroeder (SXDNS336), and Parissior (SXDNS206/FREEDL043/TAKEOVER002/BANDCAMP002/RASTROLIVE009), the label boss himself. This summer Moderna Y Theus Mago return with their fourth collaboration release ‘Give Chance A Trance’, the four-track EP will be released on Duro Label. The duo have an established history of their
own sound that touches on various genres and this ep is no different, featuring cuts of techno, acid, and dark disco that bring you electrifying sounds, elusive rhythms, and dystopian vibes.
Starting off strong with ‘La Tranca’ an energetic and galloping track with articulate vocals and psychedelic synthesizers that create an atmosphere of trap and invites you to choose your destiny for
the night. Next up is ‘Preset Body’ a chaotic track with an acidic bassline and a booming drum that immerses you in a whirlwind of rotating and twisted synthesizers, with vocals that feel like strobes in the night.
The third track, ‘Give Chance A Trance’ is a rave cut that gives the EP its name. With an incisive drum and reverberating synthesizers, this track has a very clear message: “Tomorrow is the question, Music is the answer”. The path to liberation and freedom.
Finally, the EP closes with ‘The Motion Of Emotions’ a playful and sexy track that lures you in on a journey into the night keeping you glued to the dance floor with “pulsing lights and flashing beats”, it's the perfect time for our worries to fade, “to be free, let go and thrive”.

with a definitely interstellar… cosmic… astral release !

This artist from the south of France has a gift : that of magnifying the analog synthesizers of the 70s/80s with a sensitivity all his own.
Surely inspired by the founding fathers of a new musical era like Jean Michel Jarre or Hiroshi Yoshimura, Panthera expresses a whole retro culture in his music.

The eponym track “Superchampion” is a beautiful and sensitive track, slow but sure. The perfect track to hit the road and get away from it all along the Côte d’Azur.

Clarion is cutted for the dancefloor. The rollin bass and the incredible pads/leads are supported by a powerful kick, a sharp snare and an effective rhythm.
Close you eyes, it’s time to dance !

To close the original tracks, “Cruising” is so sweet. When you listen to that music, you can’t help but think about 80s TV series full of good feelings like “Arnold & Willy” or “Punky Brewster”.
Banger for the heart !

The first remixer is none other than David Carretta himself.
We are really proud that he agreed to contribute to this release. David brings all his talent in the track “Superchampion” to make it a hit between Italo & EBM. A hopeful story of almost 7 minutes at a time when tracks are unfortunately too short to tell great stories…

The last but not the least, the talentuous Doctr drops the second remix !
And it’s the perfect track to complete the release.
As usual, the dutch artist shows his mastery of Italo music.
Dropping perfect Batucada percussions to launch the track and during a crazy break, he brings to the original piece a real vintage but modern side ! Amazing !
