On Friday 8th September Morocco was struck by the strongest earthquake on record for over a century. Hitting the High Atlas mountains, around 70 kilometres southwest of Marrakesh, the 6.8 magnitude quake has killed over 3000 people and impacted the lives of over 300,000 more.

As a way to raise funds for families and communities impacted by the disaster, we’ve rallied friends together for ‘Tadamoun: A Compilation for Moroccan Earthquake Relief’.

Compiled in collaboration with Geneva-based DJ and producer Reda Saiarh, the release features 24 tracks contributed by artists from across Europe, including Anatolian Weapons, Romain FX, Justine Forever, Cornelius Doctor, Zaatar and more. Musically it travels across many sounds and styles too, from ambient electronica, trip hop and leftfield bass to chugging Italo, jackin’ new beat and trippy techno.

All proceeds will be split 50/50 between two charities who are helping to raise money for those affected and to rebuild communities that have been devastated: Atlas Kinder, a charity who supports abandoned children in Morocco, and Insaf, a non-profit organisation that protects and supports women and children.

The sophisticated follow-up to 'Lessons On Good Behaviour' further enrichens our experience of her world. Opening with 'Unforgivable Decisions, ' an aptly named track that holds its own amongst the industrial greats. Shimmering mechanisms and pulsating arps intertwine, building to harmonic swells and a ghostly vocal from the captivating tones of Karina Jilaz. 'Germany Calling' opens Karolina's new beat intrigue with focused arps circling beneath a commanding vocal loop chanting the track's title. Soft acid lines flutter across the mix, perfectly sitting on either side of the punctual snare.

'Context Abuse' bursts open the second half of the EP with defined bass and the distinct clattering of rimshots. A powerful homage to the sound of Belgium with refreshing flair. Karolina Bnv's sophisticated palette is in full force, with her unmistakably ear-pricking melodics and vocal lines. 'Yet to Come' closes with '1988' an infectious Acid House anthem that weaves between New-Beat and Detroit House. Karolina Bnv brings her sophisticated sounds and undeniable strengths to Wrong Era once again, broadening her horizons with skillful taste.

Dina Summer launch into 2025 with the final single, ‘Promise Me’ from their forthcoming album, Girls Gang. Featuring Curses and Joshua Murphy, the captivating new single is released on January 7th via Iptamenos Discos.

‘Promise Me’ is an intense and passionate track that encapsulates the all-encompassing feeling of love. Together, they create a romanticism that deepens the core themes of obsessive love that echoes throughout the Girls Gang album. Beginning as a sorrowful and emotive lament, the track builds emotional intensity, the multi-layers reflecting the complexities of romantic turmoil and desperation, finally erupting in an emotional crescendo.

Dina Summer's new album, Girls Gang, out on January 24th, is the highly anticipated follow-up to 2022’s acclaimed 10-track LP Rimini. Ahead of its release, the group has unveiled seven singles, including the title track, ‘Girls Gang’—an uncompromising, seductive track dedicated to goth icons like Morticia Addams and Elvira; the intense, euphoric-yet-melancholic ‘Schall & Rauch’; the dramatic and theatrical ‘Zombie’; the bold anthem ‘Nothing To Hide’; and the laid-back, pop-infused ‘Hypnotized.’

‘Promise Me’ collaborator, the Berlin-based Curses, fuses New Wave, Post-Punk, and 80s EBM into a genre-defying sonic experience. Known for his haunting vocals and electrifying guitar riffs, Curses channels the dark energy of the 80s with a modern edge.

With releases on labels like Dischi Autunno, Innervisions, Hoga Nord, Throne of Blood, and his own Ombra International label, Curses has become a leading figure in the darkwave scene. His new album Another Heaven (2024) on Italians Do it Better and his genre-defining Next Wave Acid Punx compilations on Eskimo Records cement his reputation as a pioneer of boundary-pushing, cinematic soundscapes.

Joshua Murphy was born and raised in rural Australia, before eventually moving to Berlin and becoming involved in the local scene as a member of various bands (Crime & The City Solution), local promoter and music venue curator released his debut solo EP Lowlands (2022) on aufnahme + wiedergabe.

‘Promise Me’, the epic final single from Dina Summer’s upcoming album Girls Gang, featuring the Curses and Joshua Murphy, is out on January 7th ahead of the album release on January 24th.
