▌I What’s your favorite club and what’s your favorite festival - explain why!
I’m not really into festivals - but Waking Life in Portugal and Paradise City in Belgium seem really nice! As a favorite club, I will name Heideglühen and there are a lot of reasons. Music is the first one, of course, but among others, I can name safety and comfort, and I love that there's always a huge chance to meet someone you know. 

▌II Which artist influenced you a lot?
Lawrence influenced me a lot as a DJ. I can call him one of my favorite DJs. 

▌III What are you missing the most since March 2020?
My parents and my family in general. When the pandemic started, my tickets got canceled just 4 days before the flight. I had a tradition to go to Russia every year in March to celebrate my mother's birthday together with my family. 

I didn't want to put anyone in danger and be a part of the problem. At the beginning of this year, I decided to buy the tickets and finally see the family. I was so happy. On the 24th of February, the war started and it's still going... I'm from a small city in Russia which is very close to Ukraine, the airport in my city is closed, but I also feel quite unsafe when thinking about the idea of going to Russia because of my anti-war and anti-government political opinion.

This time George is back to working solo under his new (and apparently final!) alias: George Heerd. Deep music head yourself?! Well, he never disappoints. So don't expect him to this time.

"I'm really glad to return with an episode for Avenue Red after probably 3 years, a period in which I never stopped digging and crafting my sounds to a better quality almost each day 🙂. Meantime I move from working as one of the Heerd duo to a solo project simply as George Heerd, and the 1st vinyl solo release is upcoming... not sure exactly when but I hope before end of 2023, at the latest. Genre-fluid with trippy atmosphere, this mix stands somewhere between dancefloor-oriented and laidback home listening. For the 43rd instalment of the Mosaic Mix Series we turn to the deep and dubbed out minimal house sound of Dutch DJ and producer, Luna Ludmila. 

Luna has been developing and maturing her sound over the years , playing at some of the premier clubs on the circuit , such as Shelter and Bret in Amsterdam, Club Eden in Bucharest and Berlin’s Sisyphos as well as curating her own club nights in her hometown of Utrecht .

As a producer she has also gained the attention of several labels, with a recent appearance on Roger Gerressen’s well respected Irenic imprint marking her out as an upcoming producer to watch and a future release on Berg Audio planned for later this year.
