Laima Adelaide is a producer of electronic music, focusing on deep techno and ambient. She also studies classical composition at the State University of Music and the Performing Arts Stuttgart.
Her inspiration comes from her interest in nature, playing piano and visual art. She performs Livesets with her own music from heavy beats to ambient and modern sound design textures.
Stuttgart, Riga, Prague, Freiburg and Berlin are cities she has played in. Recently she has founded her own label Predawn Records.

With the 42th episode we finalise the seventh series of SALON. To close this series in style we’ve invited the South-Korean artist Cobahn who recently relocated to the Netherlands. With her deep and ritualistic sound Cobahn manages to guide her listeners in a meditative state of mind. With this ability it’s no surprise that she has been strongly associated with Vurt where she shared the line ups with many other amazing artists.

We asked Cobahn what she wants to translate with this mix, about she had the following to say:

“When I'm working on music, I like to set a certain atmosphere or story for each project. In this mix, I tried to capture a mental journey that explores the subconscious that is happening deep inside my mind. With sounds that inspired me recently I aimed for a soundscape of chaos, distortion, transformation, and various abstract emotions intertwined in darkness and light.”

Originally from Seoul, Korea, Unjin's international debut came with Miami WMC 2010 as Korea’s best electronic musician. Since then Unjin is fast becoming known in Asian techno circles as one of top producers and DJs to watch. Unjin is the founder of Korea’s first techno label 'ECI Korea' , a platform to expose emerging domestic and international talents to the world stage. 

As composer and producer, Unjin has played a key role in laying the foundation for a Korean techno culture. In 2010, as a part of the duo East Collective, the first techno album 'Spiral Sequence' was released,
receiving international recognition for the successful remixes of works for Ryogo Yamamori and DJ Sodeyama with Drumcell, Mr. Jones, Jonas Kopp, Tony Rohr & Layton Giodani, and inspiring many young
Korean artists.

While holding residency at Vurt Club in Seoul, Unjin tours internationally. Saša Delimar aka Infinity  is a Croatian born, Berlin based music producer and DJ with over 13 years of experience in dj-ing, carving his name steadily as a music producer since 2017, first through releases in a domain of the deep techno and more recently taking the turn into the sphere of experimental techno holding on to the nuances of deep drone textures arranged with accentuated percussions. To date, he has been released on labels like IO, Illegal Alien records, Lowless, Lett record and Oslated. Saša’s chief preoccupation in music production is finding the balance between a track for home listening and playing in the club, equally embracing the experimentation of texture and composition and the rhythmical intensity of the club track. In the short time since he lives in Berlin, Saša has already performed in renowned Berlin clubs like Suicide Circus, Griessmühle, Fiese Remise and recently //: about blank, taking up residency at Art Bei Ton.

We are pleased to present the second installment for our Orbita mix series. This time we have Lopar, straight from the mountains of central Colombia in the city of Manizales where he is working on bringing proposals that he considers of great artistic value. Navigating worlds of sound from ambient, dub, minimal to the deepest and most hypnotic and mental spheres of electronic music. 
His talent as a DJ has allowed him to perform alongside renowned international artists and he has contributed mixes & podcasts to major labels and platforms of our scene.

Our paisa friend guides us through his mix with a steady groove, drifting from club-friendly bangers to mental trip eleganza. Lopar hails from a land of ancient spiritual connection with nature, both terrestrial and cosmical, we like to believe that he purveys a sense of residual mysticism and tribalism throughout his musical language.
