Nokia Balistikz blends club-focused sound design with experimental structures, moving between broken rhythms, heavy bass, and textural detail. Rooted in the aesthetics of the Bern underground, the album reflects a DIY approach that values rawness, and sonic unpredictability.

The production relies on a combination of analog and digital techniques, using samplers, drum machines, and synthesizers, with a strong focus on 90s sample CDs and hardware as both sound sources and creative tools. It integrates elements from Rap, Drill, Baile Funk, and experimental electronic music. Field recordings, vocal fragments, and ambient noise are layered into the compositions, with intentional roughness and looseness playing a central role in the aesthetic.

The Nine Masked Beasts (九面獣, Kumenjū) are entities created by Menma through the use of the Black Nine-Tails' chakra. Five of these beasts are described as divine beasts (神獣, shinjū), while the other four are referred to as divine priests (神官, shinkan).
