Skysha is ready to warm your souls yet again with his heart felt melodies, only this time he is being joined by the renowned Russian saxophonist Mikhail Morozov better known by the alias Syntheticsax. 

What the guys have prepared for you is simply beyond amazing. Skysha provided a solid basis for Mikhail to work on, as the track starts easy with the chilled intro and then the hard beats get us going. Musical droplets are introduced with a driving bassline that leads us straight into the breakdown that is safely kept for Mikhail’s saxophone magic. You need to hear it for yourself to hear what this guy is capable of doing, playing with his sax like it’s just a toy, giving us goosebumps all over our body… The track starts lifting us up and we’re up dancing all over again. Provided in this package is also a dub mix that includes a clean instrumental mix of Skysha’s work for everyone to enjoy, but we guess you already know which one is our personal favorite in this one.

How it began

And there was light or shall we say a new formation ‘Essential Groovers’. Sometimes there is a special reason when people met each other. We don’t know why, but these guys where at the right place and the right moment. It was on a banging Saturday club night, January (2008), Jordi decided to make a little talk with the dj. Jordi entered Tommy’s dj booth and there it was, music, friendship, fun and magic!

On February the 1st , 2008 Tommy (Tommy the Sound) and Jordi (JVA) combined their forces and decided to work together. Both guys where born in Utrecht, The Netherlands and they share the same love, play and produce house music! 

Tommy the Sound's dj adventure began in his hometown (year 1998) where he started to perform at some local bars. A few years later he was spinning in the biggest and hottest clubs. After playing all over the country he decided to finish his course first, before taking his next step making his own productions. 

In this hole period JVA was a hard working man in the studio. With several fine productions he already had the technical knowledge. His first release came out in the year 2000 and the tracks after that reached many dance trends charts and were licensed for several compilations in different countries like Germany, the UK, Spain, China and Australia. 

Productions

In the year 2009 Essential Groovers joined Be Yourself Music. For now Essential Groovers drop their productions on the labels Dirty Soul and Big & Dirty. If you mixed up this two guys together you get a special formula. The recipe of their progressive house productions contains melodic lines, elegant grooves and of course banging uplifting beats with friendly bass lines. This already results in some fine releases. Essential Groovers remixed names like EDX, Sunfreakz and Peter Luts. 

Bigger Than Life Radio

Essential Groovers missed one thing, a own radio show. This feeling was taken away with luck and some help by Justin (a good friend). Bigger Than Life Radio started in 2010 and is a monthly show on Dance Tunes Radio. On every last Friday of the month Essential Groovers take you on a trip and let you enjoy music from the house and progressive genre. A mix combination with the best tracks of the moment and some enjoyable oldtimers.
