Madloch's 3rd Avenue proudly presents the Orion EP from Dominican DJ and producer Thaddeus X. The three-track release includes Orion, My Strangest Friend, and Until the Oceans, showcasing his deep, emotive, and exploratory take on progressive house.

With more than a decade immersed in the Dominican Republic's electronic music scene, Thaddeus X has developed a sound that bridges the past and present, weaving modern electronic rhythms with subtle echoes of New Wave, EBM, and leftfield disco. His ability to merge atmosphere with groove gives his productions a distinctive identity, shaped by a genuine curiosity for sonic experimentation.

Beyond 3rd Avenue, Thaddeus X has appeared on respected labels such as Mobilee, Last Cat On Earth Recordings, Nein Records, 3000Grad, Lucidflow, Akbal Music, and Traum Schallplatten. Through each release, he continues to explore the edges of genre and emotion, creating music that feels as introspective as it is timeless. With Orion EP, he adds a striking new chapter to his evolving artistic story.

Hailed as Cologne’s best kept secret, Tim Engelhardt is certainly stepping fully into the ring with this latest release for Poker Flat Recordings. 

This third outing on Steve Bug’s seminal label sees the man in inspired form.

The opener 'Thinking of You' is a more brooding number, slowly building via tense bass pulses, super tight percussion and sly chord progressions, before unveiling a killer melodic element midway through.

'Azimute' showcases Tim’s fine touch for dynamics within the context of the dancefloor. The track subtly shifts and mutates, using reverbs and delays to create a sense of space and grandeur - a classy, shimmering opener.

'Your Words Keep Me Safe' finds its groove immediately, tough and funky tech that exhibits some of Tim’s signature touches - a sense of drama and emotion that is missing from most electronic releases.

The fourth and final track - 'Energy Transfer' - builds from a beatless synth sequence, evolving and mutating into new and beautiful formations throughout the track. Once the beat drops you realise this will be a secret weapon for many adventurous DJs in the coming months.

Joep Esseling and Bram Harmsen’s cinematic tracks have made Esteble one of the most refreshing properties in electronic music of late. The Rotterdam natives have found support in many quarters, including BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac, Matthias Meyer, Max Cooper and Solomun, while showcasing their eclectic brand of electronic music at festivals around the world such as Shoeless Festival, Feel Festival, Edit Festival, and Pleinvrees.
