I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce this beautiful work I did recently and it will be dropping on the 18th this month. This Project consist of different sounds and elements, to be honest I was quite anxious about it but now I've come to a realization that this Ep might also help someone out there who fights certain battles everyday. This is about my life here in Kokstad, I tell stories about my struggles with pain, being alone, anxiety, depression, self harm and suicide attempts. If you also on recovering from all types of scars, hearts breaks, you will surely relate to this Ep. I would also like to thank each and everyone of you who haven't gave up on me and still show me the same amount of love as before. I've learnt alot these past years, this project is for people just like me and for anyone else who would like to know the story behind my mess. I present to you "My Life In Kokstad" with 10 tracks. Your Daughter had an impeccable impact in us aspiring artists, especially the ones from Kokstad, we looked up to her. She made us believe when there was no hope. Siphelele Tshangase also known as Estee Kd was born in a small town in KwaZulu-Natal called Kokstad. He fell in love with Hip-Hop music at a very young age, He was inspired by Eminem, Hopsin, Nf, Lil wayne and so many artists I forgot to mention. The music helped him alot growing up, He was able to go out and actually socialize with his peers through it and made him to feel like he actually belong to something. I'd say it came as a tool for him to fight life's struggles and to got out there and face all his fears. His music is different its more versatile and it's comforting but discomforting at the same time. Whenever He feels something good or bad this is where is he goes, It's a Therapy for him. He knows his still young but he can assure you he has alot to offer to this generation and to Hip-Hop. Estee Kd wants people to be able to listen to his music and actually relate it to their daily experiences and also find some sort of peace and comfort through it. Estee Kd wants to be able to pull people out of their comfort zones when they listen to his music, he wants the unheard voices to be heard through his music.
