Kinky fue una de las primeras bandas que conocimos al llegar a Los Angeles por primera vez. Gil, el cantante, se ofreció para pinchar un rato antes de nuestro concierto en el Chivas Lounge de Beverly Hills. Hubo buenas vibraciones y, al cabo de un tiempo acabamos haciendo una mini gira juntos y en algún momento se planteó un intercambio de remixes. Así que este remix, de alguna manera, explica nuestra llegada a uno de los lugares más fascinantes del universo Pinker... California.

Ahora que myspace es ya tan antiguo en términos 2.0 que ya es casi retro, mola recordar cuando hace no muchos años estábamos todos enganchados a myspace, nosotros incluso un poco antes, un año más o menos, que el resto de bandas de nuetsro círculo. El auge de myspace en EE.UU coincidió con la salida de The Million Colour Revolution en América con Nacional Records y EMI en México. La amistad con Torpedo Boyz es de esa época. De hecho buena parte de lo que fue el disco de remezclas de TMCR, More Colours, nació através de myspace. Celebremos hoy la primera red social en la que la música fue protagonista.

En 2009 recibimos un Premio de la Música - sí, hace poco en este país aún se daban Premios a la Música - por S.E.X.Y. R.O.B.O.T., de manos de un hombre, cuya obra desconocíamos hasta ese momento. En el verano de 2008 hicimos la gira más larga que jamás ha hecho un grupo español en EE.UU: 54 días, 43 ciudades, 2 actuaciones diarias. Como vivimos todo ese tiempo en un tour bus, instalamos un pequeño estudio en la sala posterior del mismo. Menos mal, porque a media gira Salvador Santana, hijo del gran Carlos nos pidió este remix.
