Still wish there were a couple more from this one on Soundcloud. This album played over and over again for years... dont know about everyone else but didnt care much for her other releases sadly. This was game changing though.

Considering I didn't grow up with Christmas, performing a Christmas cover was a layered thought process.
This song was one that my mom and I shared many times over growing up, and to me seemed like the only bit of a Christmas melody we could openly share with one another. The album it came off of, Blue, was one that changed the way I listened to music as a kid and made a deep imprint on me for the rest of my life.

It was important for my interpretation of something I had such a deep connection too, not be straight forward seeing as that is not the type of artist I am.
