As I'm more and more drawn to downtempo, organic but darkish tracks, I figured I should record a little set. Although we have a big set up in our living room with both vinyl tables and XDJ's, I sat down with this cute little controller. I actually enjoy not having all too many options from time to time; but mostly, I needed to sit down because of a foolish little injury ;) Hope you enjoy!

La Primera

After having spent our twenties in Amsterdam, most of us have now settled elsewhere and aren't raving as much as we used to. Luckily, friends of ours hosted a little rave this weekend in their recently bought farm :) after playing mostly downtempo on after-hours, I absolutely enjoyed playing a dance-able and energetic set in the middle of the night. Mijn set voor Familiar Forest Festival, zomereditie 2024 :) Wat was het heerlijk om in de tweede nacht van het festival te draaien en het publiek mijn 'duistere' kant te laten horen. Minder geboemel, meer zaagtandjes! Verwacht een mix van organica, melodic tech, dark disco en een randje psy trance her en der :)
