Celebrating ten years of their legendary debut album ‘Empire’, Super8 & Tab present an exclusive collection of remixes on ‘Empire 10 pt. 2’.

Miika Eloranta and Janne Manserus, aka Super8 & Tab, have been part of our family for over 15 years. They began collaborating on music in 2005, and the magic was instant. The likes of ‘Black Is The New Yellow’, ‘Helsinki Scorchin’ and ‘Irufushi’ have stood the test of time.

They have remixed Above & Beyond’s Tranquility Base classic ‘Oceanic’, and most recently delivered a mix for the 20 Years of Anjunabeats compilation series. 

A sought-after remix from Anjunabeats Volume 15, Marsh takes on ‘Irufushi’. One of Anjunadeep’s brightest stars, he released his album ‘Lailonie’ on the label in November 2020 and played two sensational sets across Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy 450 celebration weekend in London. 

Rodg and SØNIN also appear on the package. Both producers have collaborated with Miika and Janne in the past. Rodg adds his own spin to ‘Slow To Learn’, while SØNIN takes on ‘Mercy’ feat. Jan Burton.

Nifra and Zack Evans’ remixes of ‘Eternal Sequence’ and ‘My Enemy’ complete the EP. Based in Slovakia, Nifra is a key name on Markus Schulz’s Coldharbour Recordings and hosts her own monthly radio show, ‘Rebel Radio’. 

U.S.-based trance DJ Zack Evans has made a name for himself with a consistent run of releases on Enhanced Music and Super8 & Tab’s own Scorchin’ Records.

Off the back of his recent ‘Heaven EP’, Tom Marshall, aka Marsh, returns to Anjunadeep with a fresh trio of signature deep cuts on his latest ‘Another Planet EP’. Having quickly become a real fan favourite among fans of the label, Marsh’s new offering comes off the back of a landmark 12 months, which saw him release his first Anjunadeep album ‘Lailonie’ (which has amassed over 11 million streams to date).

The EP opens with title track ‘Another Planet’, featuring a speech from influential American jazz musician and poet Sun Ra. First heard during Above & Beyond’s ABGT450 Deep Warm Up set, second track ‘Fable’ pays homage to Marsh’s distinct melodic house sound whilst EP closer ‘Gated’ features a dreamy vocal sample. Marsh’s latest showcases his reputable production techniques that have gained him support from Joris Voorn, Eelke Kleijn and Sian Eleri at BBC Radio 1.

Dutch legend Joris Voorn puts a spin on Nicky Elisabeth’s debut release on Anjunadeep, ‘Fading’.

Released in May, Nicky’s ‘Fading’ showcased her soft side, with her airy vocals perfectly complementing her tight and polished production. Now one of Holland’s finest exports, Joris Voorn, brings the track to the dancefloor by adding his signature upbeat energy. The remix has already received a warm reception from fans when Joris featured it in his sets at Canada’s Electric Island festival, and on the Freedom stage at Tomorrowland.

Following a residency at Amsterdam’s De Marktkantine and an appearance at iconic London club Fabric, Nicky has performed at major festivals over the summer including Awakenings, DGTL, and Tomorrowland. She shows no signs of slowing down, and, this autumn, will be appearing on the lineups for Anjunadeep’s label showcases at Amsterdam’s Paradiso and Berlin’s Watergate.

Gardenstate, for instance, take things very deep. Fresh from featuring on Odd Ones Vol. 1 on Yotto's Odd One Out Imprint with their track Floración, here the transatlantic duo make their debut on Joris Voorn's Spectrum and dig deeper into their craft with two incredibly explorative pieces of fully immersive techno.

Like all the best journeys we start with the 'Rabbit Hole'. At first it seems like an innocuous acid line. Warm, direct, simple. But the more you listen, and the more you dance, the more it opens up. Before you know it, you're swimming in arpeggios amid crisp neon spirals, your mood lifting with every new element.

'Arpology' is a moment of honest euphoria. The duo describe it as an 'arp orgy' as three layers of the iconic synth are rolled out and entwined in a majestic narrative fashion. A homage to the music of their roots and personal foundations, it's a timeless piece that joins the dots between trance and techno with class.
