Well that's just great seemed appropriate. My dad had just passed away two days before' my bank account was empty; creditors were calling; I only had enough money for a pack of American Spirits and a 750 of brandy. The tune came to me as a way to cheer me up, but all I could think of was, well, that's just great!

So I'm shut in the perpetual garage/basement of my mind and sorrows, still somewhat of a mess hung up on my dad's passing a couple of days ago, not being able to shake an "e-minor" so I just sort of ran with it.

The sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me - thing, came to me while I was editing one of the guitar tracks. Very staccato -- that saying -- and as I listened to the play-back I said, "Huh... that's kinda catchy!" So that's how Sticks and Stones came about.

Nothing fancy, here. I'm just a simple guy with a couple of guitars, some effects and a computer or two. I grew up playing Country music in my dad's band; rock in a couple of others bands when I got older, and now I just play alone. Life is good. Be a geographer, drive a jeep, and see that the world is full of interesting people all with a story to tell.
