The tenth edition of the microcastle podcast welcomes label artist MUUI back for his second showcase. The Berlin based producer is coming off his second project for us entitled 'Seminal'. Released in February, the four track EP featured another diverse selection of music, earning support from John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo,  Guy J, Sasha, Nick Warren, Guy Mantzur, Agents of Time, Third Son, Stephan Bodzin, Gardens of God and many more. 

For the tenth edition of our podcast we've chosen a live show of MUUI's from a recent gig at S.A.S.H in Sydney, Australia. Comprised of all his own originals, showcased are six brand new, unheard tracks along with live / alternate versions of his Bengal remix, 'Placid', 'Hide Seek', 'Clouds', 'Touch', 'Taet' and ending  in gorgeous fashion with 'Vrijeme'. Sequence Guest Mix [June 2017]

The twelfth edition of the microcastle podcast welcomes label artist Third Son. The London, UK based producer is coming off his second project for us entitled '2042'. Released last month, the collection was stylistically diverse, featuring five unique and sonically distinctive creations. The project earned play and support from Sasha, Maceo Plex, Stephen Bodzin, Agents of Time, Monkey Safari, Raxon and more; while reaching #1, #2 and #4 in Progressive House, Electronica, Deep House and Techno respectively.

For the twelfth edition of our podcast we've chosen a live set of Third Son's from a recent gig at Watergate, Berlin. Over three magical hours he worked through a flow of rugged beats, deep grooves and poignant melodies; featuring fresh music from Rampa, Guy J, Patrice Baumel, Agents of Time, Toto Chiavetta, Gardens of God, Joakim, Johannes Brecht, HearThug and more, along with unreleased gems and choice cuts from his '2042' EP. I want to share with you this sixth episode of my B2B space. This time with Kenny. A great and talented Dj with a exquisite taste to get a amazing selections and a refined style. I want to highlight this great session, with a fine taste and pure feeling of this excellent Deep House. It Has been fantastic!! Kenny J has been at the forefront of the clubbing scene in Europe and Australia for over twenty years. He has always been a true pioneer when it comes to developing his own unique style and sound. From his own heady clubbing days in the early 1990s Kenny has witnessed how dance music has grown and evolved. Whether he’s keeping a frenetic crowd hypnotised in the early hours or laying down some blissful beats as the sun sets, Kenny knows that mixing is all about reading and responding to the crowd. Kenny has spent many years perfecting his sound and style, for him it’s all about producing memorable musical moments.
 
Now at this point in his music career Kenny wants to take his skills and sounds to the next level. DJ Kenny J mixes two decades of personal passion into every seamless set and with a discerning ear for a top quality tune; he always delivers memorable days and truly unforgettable nights.

▪ About Ablekid
Ablekid aka Daniel Moore is a veteran DJ/producer from the famous Orlando underground now living in Austin, TX. The early 90’s underground music scene in Orlando and Cocoa Beach, Florida was for Daniel home, and the place he began his 27 year and counting sonic voyage of discovery. Surrounded by a plethora of musical talent and with one of America’s greatest underground clubs (Aahz) on his doorstep, Danny’s journey into dance music was as fortuitous as it was inevitable. After picking up a set of decks in 2000, he started buying vinyl by the crate-load and honing his skills – a small following developed.

Fast-forward to a move to the musical hotbed of Austin, Texas in 2009, the Ablekid moniker has seen success in various forms. Now signed to Praveen Achary’s Juicebox Music imprint, along with older releases on Christian Lang’s Kindred Recordings (Paris) and Rapid Fire Records (Miami), Daniel has also fostered relationships with many promo services by becoming part of the esteemed Release Promo roster in 2014.

His continued success in the US underground is a combination of effective crate digging, silky smooth DJ skills and just the right amount of grit and determination. His mixes and productions are the result of all this hard work and shows a depth of knowledge and attention to detail that has seen his heroes rule the underground for many wonderful tune filled years.
