Lithuania is undoubtedly one of the countries leading the direction of contemporary dance electronics for some time. We are happy that we can give space to their young promising DJs in our podcast.

Born and raised by the Vilnius atmosphere, Roudtraxx has been part of the local underground club scene for several years. He is part of the well-known record store and label Discotag, where he has plenty of opportunities to devote himself, as he says, to his musical obsession.

For us, he has prepared a selection of his favourite club tracks. It is up to you to decide what a fresh breeze sounds like from a distant land.

It’s all about timing! This release wasn’t on the schedule, but when we’ve received the demos of Igaxx (that we didn’t knew earlier), it made evidence that it should be release on Macadam Mambo as soon as possible. All ingredients were here to make a very special record. The fully analog music produced by the Tokyoite, Shota Ikawa aka Igaxx, immediatly rang a bell to our memory : Irdial Discs, the legendary UK label that we instantly connected with his music, the long housy loops, the deepness of the atmosphere, the tropical jungle sounds was not without remembering Aqua Regia or Pluto to name a few… the EP alternates infectious ambient tunes, hypnotic beats and dance music. It’s the kind of gem that could very quickly become a classic, TIP.

The young scientist takes us here in his first "Méharées". These long raids on camelback, interested in nature, cliffs, sand, scorpions and snakes. Vegetation both rare and precious, his music has taken, as if by mimicry, the characteristics of the desert: dry and hostile. Philippe Toussaint knew how to restore the magic of its horizons, which unfolds endlessly, and where DJ Ungel sails there as on a sea.

Also known as the man behind Details Sound imprint, A HAND is a dj and music maker grow up in Italy.

Strongly influenced by his passion for hardware synths and do-it-yourself aesthetics, his works are deeply characterised by a constant research for old-school sounds injected with modern rhythmics.

After having released a couple of 12-inches in 2013 as Details (paired with Matteo Fabbri) A HAND debuted in 2014 with Informations Ep pushing himself further into noise-soaked techno territories.

In 2018 with Slow Injection Ep he moves towards a more club-oriented vision and lately he appeared on The Spirit Of The Age Vol.1 [Details Sound 2021] and Second Wave [Random Numbers 2021]

In 2022 he also contributed with a rework of Neural Pathways by Anatolian Weapons to a 44 tracks compilation released on Lurid Music.

From 2019 to 2021 he has also hosted mut-o, a monthly show on Radio Raheem which explore dance & leftfield contemporary electronic music.

Playing a variety of genres during a set is always a challenge, and for me, it's a love-hate relationship. I was debating for a long time whether I should post this. As they say, we are our own worst critics, but I decided to share the recording with you all - I want you guys to experience at least a little bit of what I have felt that night.
