A rising name in Berlin’s ever crowded pool of talents, Eerste Communie resident Windfuhr has been developing his own idiosyncratic persona at the junction of heavy-traction 4x4 rhythms and deep, hypnotic folds of intricate melodies and exotica-laced electronics. Minimal in essence but maximal in effect, his compositions bridge the gap between stripped-back functionality and dreamy escapology, neatly coordinating the throbbing cavalcade of racy uptempo machine funk with layered, modular-like transmissions as his feverish drum programming leads the charge. No doubt Windfuhr’s name is one you’ll hear a lot more in 2024.

We have the honour to welcome the Portugal based Nørbak.
  
In close relation to it’s title “Modus Operandi”. You can recognise Nørbak’s typical sound.   
Nørbak, who started releasing music only little over a year ago, hasn't stopped since.  

Nørbak drops his EP, Modus Operandi on Eternal Friction Records, containing two originals and three remixes by no other artists than Stanislav Tolkachev, Svarog and Pursent.   

Modus Operandi I is a carefully assembled loop, topped off with hisses and rattles, which sounds simple but is actually executed very effectively. 
Modus Operandi II is in that exact same style, where every sound serves it’s purpose. 
Svarog’s remix making this EP nothing other than a perfect trip.   

That, in combination with  the more aggressive remixes by Stanislav Tolkachev and Pursent, make this a truly versatile EP.

Seventh NFR chapter is an EP produced by French-based artist Knay, who started his project in 2018. In relatively short time Knay released some great music on labels like Natch, Ritualism, Circular Limited. As artist says himself - sound exploration is the main focus while having a studio session, combination of nature sounds, analog gear recordings, transposed and time stretched samples used to create textures and rhythms. Release contains 4 original tracks and 4 remixes made by The Alchemical Theory trio, head of Solid Shape Records from France - Saebius, Italian producer Simone Bauer and NFEREE.
