Yiddish Veršes (Yiddish Verses) — гэта музычны праект пра паэзію і памяць у сучасным гучанні.

Ён прапануе новае прачытанне культурнай спадчыны, якая дзесяцігоддзямі заставалася ў ценю — паэзіі на ідышы, створанай яўрэйскімі паэтамі Беларусі.

Праект ініцыяваны Цэнтрам беларуска-яўрэйскай культурнай спадчыны ў партнёрстве з Radio Plato.

У аснове праекта — творчасць аўтараў, якія нарадзіліся ў Беларусі і пісалі на ідышы ў першай палове ХХ стагоддзя: Лейб Найдус, Мойшэ Кульбак, Ізі Харык, Зэлік Аксельрод, Залман Шнэўр, Самуіл Галкін, Абрам Рэйзэн і іншыя. Іх паэзія апынулася на мяжы забыцця: сёння гэтыя імёны амаль невядомыя шырокай публіцы, а мова, на якой яны пісалі, знікла з паўсядзённага ўжытку.

Сем беларускіх музыкаў — Palina, Tok Rukoo, KOOB, WTBSK, Syndrom Samazvanca, Лайтовы і Anastasia Rydlevskaya — стварылі на аснове гэтай паэзіі арыгінальныя песні ў розных жанрах — ад летуценнага дабу і электронікі да арт-рок эксперыментаў і рэпу. Артысты вялі відэадзённікі, дзе дзяліліся думкамі, адкрыццямі і асабістымі перажываннямі. Гэтыя матэрыялы сталі часткай візуальнага Instagram-праекта.

Праект суправаджаюць эксперты — літаратуразнаўца, прафесар славістыкі і юдаікі Міхаіл Круцікаў (University of Michigan) і лінгвіст Сяргей Шупа (Прага).
