This Song is also dedicated to a Person that is very important to me, but who i hurt in the recent past.

Just a litte arrangement of an anime Soundtrack. Originally written for Piano and here i tried to play it on a classical guitare. 
Went well until the end. There i struggled a little. Maybe i will record it again someday and upload some sheets and tabs.

Rei's Theme (Acoustic Guitare Cover - Demo) - Neon Genesis Evangelion

And again I digged something up i wrote some years ago (Probably at the beginning of  2020).
It was right after i bought my new Guitare (Takamine P1-DC). So this Song is more the result of some general experimenting with a new guitare and a new style. As i told in the description of my other tracks and in my Profile Info, i started to improve my Plectrum Playing (Picking and Strumming) after i got the Acoustic Steelstring Guitare.

I hope you enjoy this Track. It´s a little groovy and a little bluesy in the beginning and then it gets a little more energetic. It got a simple, repetitive structure unlike the nearly progressive stuff i put on my tracklist before. 

Recorded the Guitare on my mobile and corrected some minor mistake with audacity (Around 4:00 - 4:05).

As you can read in the Title, this is a Metal Cover (just electric guitare) of the Unicorn's Cave Theme. The Unicorn's Cave is the fifth dungeon in The Legend of Zelda - Oracle of Seasons (for Nintendo's Game Boy Color).

In 2018 i heard this Theme and thought "Hey, that got some Metal Potential." So i tried to work something out and recorded it.
Today almost 4 years later i found it in the depths of my Computer, edited and polished it.
And now i want to share this little piece of mine with you.

Equipment: E-Guitare is a Ibanez Gio Ibanez Gio GRX40JU-CA with self applied Seymour Duncan Humbucker Pick Ups. Played it over my Digitech RP-1000 Multieffectpedal and recorded it with Audacity.

Unicorn's Cave Theme (Metal Cover) - The Legend Of Zelda - Oracle Of Seasons

Aaaaand another TLoZelda (Oracle of Seasons) Cover i found on my Computer. I also recorded in 2018. 
This Time it is the Theme from the 4th Dungeon: Dancing Dragon. 

It might just be a straight playthrough, no special arrangement as i did for the "Unicorn's Cave Theme".
But this time i experimented a little with Stereo Sound while i edited the recording.
On the left sight you hear the rhythm Guitare and on the Right side the Lead guitare.
The Lead Guitare consists of two tracks which are successively fading and rising in change. So it seems like two instruments are handing over the leadpart to each other.

Well, after some time i build a new kind of metal track again. And as usual it is just pure distorted Guitare riffing.

Originally i wanted to cover smooth criminal by michael Jackson. Buuuut as you can hear i somehow drifted far away from this destination, hahaha.

So yeah. if anyone got suggestions for the name/ title of this Song, i'd be very grateful :'D

untitled metalproject (suggestions pls?)

uhm, this time i just wrote a song. i liked the mysterious sound of the starting riff. Then i wrote some other parts, merged them together and done. 

Although i experimented with a new play style in the second half of the song. There i slapped and strummed the guitar while picking it, so you get a percussive element. It´s a bit tricky, since i directly had to pick the notes after the slap/ strumming, so yeah. That´s something i guess.

it´s pure finger picking this time, no plectrum.

Well, i don´t know about you, but somehow i had to think of Soundtracks from the Legend of Zelda (probably Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword) and Celeste while i wrote this.

You can think of this song, like this:
In the beginning you enter the mysterious misty woods. First it´s somehow exciting. But then it becomes frustrating, all looks ("sounds") the same, and it feels like you are running in circles.
Will you ever find the way out and get to your destination?

When it becomes more "metal" in the last part, it´s like you got out of the forest more or less. But now you have to climb up the mountain, where the castle is, that you are trying to reach (Mountain = climbing "rocks" = playing something rocky / metalish ... got it? nice). Or you have to fight against uhm ...grizzly bears or other monstrous stuff? Something dangerous, that might fit to the sound, you know? :'D
Reaching "the castle" is not included in this "Soundtrack".

You might think, that the Track is unfinished ? After the first third there is no more melody ? Well, then don´t be afraid to play something over it yourself if you like :D

Into The Mountain Woods

oof ... well that was some work. I had the initial idea for this song/ motifs some years ago (Probably around 2017/18 i guess). I wrote down what i had back then, but didn´t know how to continue. Some days ago i rediscovered it and decided to finish the concept(that's why it's just a guitar track ... as usual).

If you consider my previous upload (Into the mountain woods) you could say, that this track might be the sequel to it.  You know. Last time we had to go through a mysterious forest to reach a castle on the mountains. Now, heavily exhausted we arrived at the castle and have to keep on. 
But maybe i´m just making this up to give this track some context ;D

Nevertheless, it somehow sounds motivational, "against all the odds" like. Therefore i thought of this title.

Keep Fighting

Well ... this is also an old concept, probably from 2016/2017. I wrote it down for the Band in which i played at that time. But since we parted shortly after that, it never came to finishing the song. 

Like the previous upload (Keep Fighting) i rediscovered it in my notes and recorded the riffs i wrote down back then to get a rough track of the concept at least. It's just plain guitar as usual.
Around 3 Minutes i added a second guitar to make it a little more exciting.

And to be honest, the sweeping parts were not recorded in full speed because i have been too lazy to practise them.

This time i just wanted to try something that's more calm. I also wanted to experiment with "reverse Delay".

Song is made with 3 Guitare Tracks. Bass line,  rhythm and lead guitare. Rhythm patterns are rather minimalistic and kind of a loop. The leads are more worked out, with a lot of reverb, delay, and (too much :'D) bendings.
I'd say it's some kind of "guitare solo".

You also got 3 bars 4/4 and a 4th bar in 7/8.

The song is probably a mix of Indie, Postrock and Ambient and conveys the longing for a person i know who makes me feel some weird, but wonderful things at the moment.

I am a Guitar Player who finally decided to share his musical ideas. I have been playing only "for myself" for long years now. But maybe some of you might like my style or even find inspiration in my work. 
[PS: As you can see, i tend to write a lot especially regarding description texts. So i recommend to read through my song descriptions! Might also inspire some of the aspiring musicians here :)]

I first started off as a classical guitarist being in training for around 10 years. I have been a junior student at the university of music in Saarbrücken (Germany) or "HfM SAAR" for around three years whilst still visiting Upper School/ my A-Level/ Senior Classes.
At this time i also joined a metal band of school colleagues where i attempted to learn electric guitare and metal/metalcore/ Deathcore style. 
I have also been playing in diverse orchestras and ensembles for guitare and plucked string instruments. On federal state level i played for the "Saarländisches Jugendzupforchester" and "Saarländisches Jugendgitarrenorchester" (Saarland - Germany). And i played in local Asociations like "Gitarrenchor Wiebelskirchen" and "Gitarrenchor Bous".

Around two years ago i bought an acoustic steel string guitare (Takamine P1DC SM) and started to learn a new Style. First i reached for iconic Guitarists like Tommy Emmanuel, Nick Drake and Chet Atkins. 

But now i am on my journey to discover my own style. On Acoustic guitare i try to get as much out of pure Plectrum Playing as i can get, or arrange some random pieces for classical Guitare (Solo or Ensemble).
On my electric Guitare i indulge to a Style i like to refer to as "Joshcore."
