The distance between good and bad is measured by our perception of our perception of right and wrong.  The distance between right and wrong is measured by our life experience in which our perceptions change.  The advise we should have taken becomes the wisdom that is earned.  In the poor decisions we consciously make is our test of accepting what we believe is expected.  In the belief that our beliefs are superior and moral we become lost in the distance between good, bad, right and wrong.  Intention without question of the truth in our perception is what keeps us from seeing our own deception

The Distance

There's only one moment ever meant to last.  It is this very moment that has yet to pass.  You've always known it, never had to ask.  Time has shown it  measured in the distance from the past.  
Some day into the other day becomes the yesterday of tomorrow, into all the years gone.
